We have yet another client who had a kitty show up. This is an intact male kitty who is very friendly with soft fur. If you are interested in giving him a good home, please let us know.

This kitty showed up at one of our clients back yards. They have been feeding him. He wants to be an inside kitty (and probably was one). They are unable to take him in, as they have a full house. They really want to find him a good home. We know nothing about him, but if you are interested or know someone interested, please let us know. Let’s find this sweet guy a home!

Gatsby is looking for a new home. Unfortunately his current owner is no longer able to care for him. He is an 8 year old Potcake dog…Shepherd/Retriever/Boxer mix. He is 55 pounds, house trained, current on shots, super friendly and lovable. If you are interested, please let us know.

Here is Penny’s story of her life with ZZ.

For as long as I can remember I have always fancied reptiles and amphibians. About ten years ago I brought my baby bearded dragon home. When naming him, one of my friends asked who I knew with a beard. The first thing that came to my mind was the band ZZ Top with their long white beards. There you have it, my beardie was named.
He was so tiny and only ate pin head crickets, but he grew fast. He was very gregarious and loved his people time. He ate crickets, meal worms, and green veggies when he had to, but he absolutely loved a good plump raspberry. He was a great beardie. He loved to sit on my lap, chest or shoulder while I worked. He loved to bask in the sun and hang out in the fresh grass. He loved to have his head scratched…it almost always put him to sleep.
When we did Snellville days eight years ago, he was the absolute hit of the booth. Everyone wanted to pet him or hold him, and he was a trooper dealing with three long days of being handed around to strangers. Of all the reptiles I tried as pets he was the only one that was truly a pet. ZZ passed away over five years ago. He was only five years old. The average life span is 8 to 12 years. He just stopped eating one day and nothing the vet tried worked. I think of him often and smile. Beardies make great pets and maybe one day, when I have less going on, I will try another.
