Show season is coming! Who’s excited??

I'm excited to announce your 2024 show schedule!

We have some exciting updates to share. We are planning on holding the Medals at every show this summer to help our local riders qualify for CHJA Medal Finals. We also renewed our USHJA affiliate membership and we're currently working on holding qualifying classes for the USHJA Outreach Festival in Las Vegas. More info on this to come!

Show Schedule:

May 18 - CWHJA Spring Opener at Strang Ranch
June 1 - CWHJA Show at Strang Ranch
June 22-23 - Benefit CWHJA Show at Strang Ranch
August 17-18 - CWHJA Show at Strang Ranch
September 21 - CWHJA Year End Show at TBD

Prize lists will be available at cwhja.com at least two weeks before every show.

Huge shout out to my lovely and talented friend Lydia for picking up my camera while I completed. Lydia will be attending our CWHJA shows this summer and offering equine massage and treatments on site. I can personally recommend her as highly intuitive and professional, her natural connection with horses is something you need to experience!

30 days of thankful is wrapping up with a well deserved thank you to all of the amazing lesson horses and ponies. They are lucky to be loved by all their students young and old. Do you remember your first pony?

Day 29 of gratitude month! At some point we all come across a horse that teaches you patience, a stickier seat, the meaning of dedication, true humility, and a sense of accomplishment. John is my heart horse, but Leroy has taught me lessons I never knew I needed to learn. He has grown into a beautiful, smart guy that I wouldn’t trade for anything. 💝

Day 28! Happy “gotcha” Day John!! The last 14 years with you have brought so much joy to my life. Love you with all my heart ❤️

Day 27! It goes without saying that the right equipment helps produce beautiful results — that and hours of practice!! I am so glad to have a A6400 and a Sigma lens to help me capture these images.

Day 26! I have received so much support, guidance, and encouragement from Deidre with my photography venture and with all matters of horsemanship. She has the knowledge and experience to offer training and riding suggestions and is one of my favorite people to ride with. Plus, she has the most darling daughter who I absolutely adore! You are a wonderful friend 💝
