When I attune students to reiki and teach them self-healing, I am ultimately guiding them home to listen to themselves. I’ve seen complete breakthroughs and transformations happen with this realization. We aren’t taught to do this. We’re taught to listen to other people above ourselves. I spent the first 23 years of my life waiting for the clouds of depression and anxiety to lift — knowing I was capable of accessing joy but never knowing how.

Finding reiki and practicing self healing every day lifted away the “cap” on my happiness. Feeling true energetic resonance with who I am on a soul level gave me access to the deepest peace I’ve ever known.

I believe bliss as our most natural energetic state, our most activated state, our purest state.

Do I still hit moments of depression? Yes. Do I still have anxious days? Yes.

I don’t talk much about who or where I was before I started my reiki journey.
I’ll never forget the day I looked at my anti depressants a few after getting certified and just realized “I don’t need these.” And tapered myself off. It was the same week that I decided to stop restricting my food.
There were lots of ways I used to go about feeling normal. But as soon as I realized I wasn’t supposed to, I was free.
I’m not a doctor, use your discernment with medication lol you know the deal.

I work with students who aren’t in it for the money but also know the value of offering incredibly potent work and deserve to be compensated for it.
