Today I commend myself for putting the feeling of fear behind me. Coming back into the hair braiding game after being away for 4 years, a lot has changed. Box Braids were high demands, and now knotless are . Cornrows were an easy go to style, where now, it's about feed-ins and stitch braids. True, there are some people who's still into the old school braids but I knew I had to improve. I did not look at not having mastered these styles as a problem but an opportunity. ...A huge opportunity to build on my craft. Today, I applied skills I have been practicing and techniques I have been educating myself on. I still have a ways to go, but I am happy that I stepped out of my comfort zone with an open mind.
