Thank you to everyone in the community who has been so supportive during this significant change in not only our business and lives but within the community. We have received an outpour of love and kindness; however, it is clear that many still have questions.

We want to take this moment to clarify that we have not sold D’latte as the business so many of you have grown to love, only the building itself. We intend to keep our business and recipes alive, just in a different capacity, that we will announce when we are ready, and we hope that can be respected.

We are a small community, and this has been an emotional experience. Many have asked for our recipes and even offered to pay for them. While we are honored by these requests, please understand that these recipes have supported our family for decades. We have worked tirelessly creating, developing, and researching our recipes. They are our livelihood, and we intend to keep them alive. The recipe we have had the most requests for has been our Morning Glory muffins and Carrot Cake, to no surprise. That recipe, as so many others, is the very definition of our father and the business that thrived within our community. These recipes are sentimental, and we could never put a price tag on them.

With our final day here in this amazing, loving town of Greenport after twenty years, we are remised to say goodbye, but we know we will see you all in the next chapter. Thank you to all the wonderful families whose kids we’ve watched grow, and to all the customers who have seen us change and evolve and made us laugh. This ten picture limit is nowhere near large enough to showcase everyone! We love this community so much, and we hope you all know how hard goodbye is for us, so instead, we will say, “See you soon.”

With only a few days left before we close our doors for the final time, we’d love to hear from you about your favorite D’latte (or one of the other iterations of D’latte we’ve had over the past 20 years such as the Half Note, Biere etc) memories or tag a picture of your favorite D’latte moment .

Our last day will be Sunday, February 4th. Until then we still have hot soup, sweets, muffins, coffee and more! We’re open 7am to 5pm.

Dear Friends,
With a heavy heart, we have to announce the closure of our Greenport cafe at 218 Main Street after 20 beautiful years. Our last day will be Sunday, February 4th, 2024.

We want to take this moment to thank all of you who have supported us throughout this journey, making it full of love and laughter. We are truly grateful for the memories we have made here and will cherish them always. Although this is goodbye for now, we are excited to embark on the next chapter for D'latte, which our father, Frank, has always wanted. Stay tuned on social media for more updates.
