Little did we know, two years later in December of 2022, we would get to see our second baby girl wearing the same smocked dress for Christmas. Did you know that Reinvintage Warehouse hosts a "Thirsty Thursday" the first Thursday of every month? It is the store's way of thanking Rewards Members for shopping with us, and a chance to share cocktail & mocktail recipes and light refreshments with customers!

You don’t want to miss next month’s Thirsty Thursday, since they are teaming up with vendor Flock to the Table to bring you a special kick-off to the month long 10th Birthday Celebration of the Warehouse with a Birthday Soiree! There will be stations around the warehouse for you to experience all the elements of hosting a birthday celebration, including party favors and refreshments! Rewards members will be able to spend their rewards all day.

Scarlett's Boutique and Home is hosting a kid's art camp over the next 4 weeks! You can do individual dates for $25 each, or sign up for all 4 for $90! First up is this fun jellyfish painting! Wednesday, July 10th from 1-3pm.

First up on the Kids Art Camp? 🪼This fun friendly jelly fish painting… a 16x20 canvas full of personal choice paint color, bubble wrap stamping, water bubbles and a glitter finish! This one is July 10th and is $25 for the class. If you sign up for all 4 weeks of classes, you save $10. Sign your child up today! 🪼

is a mobile on-demand hair and make-up team that specializes in pageants, weddings, and special events. However, they also have a booth at Reinvintage Warehouse where they sell their exclusive line of gluten-free, cruelty-free, professional grade beauty products! Last month, they provided our runway participants with mini-facials, and the girls loved it! There are also products your tween (or yourself) would enjoy, like their Mineral Sheer Tint, Hydrating Cleanser, or a wide array of luxury lip glosses!

A question that we get asked all the time, is whether or not we make the clothes that we sell, and the answer is "I wish I were that talented, but no". Our smocked clothing is "hand smocked", so if you happen to find two pieces with the same smocking, you can usually tell a subtle difference in the details. It's quite impressive when you start to study the scenes. So next time you stop by Showoffs Kids Boutique inside Reinvintage Warehouse, check out those smocked tees, dresses, jon jons, etc!

The other day, I was feeling a little low in regards to "the business". I happened to be at the baseball field (where I've spent a lot of time lately, watching a certain 8-year old), and another mom mentioned that she had just been at my store, to which I replied, "I hope you were able to find what you were looking for?" Meanwhile I was holding my breath in anticipation that she had left disappointed. When in fact, she exclaimed something to the effect of "Yes! I always find just the right thing! I only wish I had given myself more time to look around the rest of the Warehouse!"

The thing is, we don't always hear the good. And it's nice to hear the good! So, if you've had a great experience, we'd like to know about it. I love when someone approaches me and says how much they love shopping at Showoffs! It means so much to know that there are positive experiences had! So, thank you!

Another of our best-selling products is HAIR BOWS. Customers would come to our store "just to get a bow"! We consider our bows to be some of the best around! They are handmade locally by Ginger Breads, and come in lots of colors and sizes! Something that makes them extra special is that the clips have a rubber piece that keeps them from sliding out of hair! So even that baby with just a few strands of hair, can wear one of our bows! We've heard it said, "the bigger the bow, the closer to heaven".

One item that we absolutely cannot keep in stock are the Ribbon Sculptures from Bows for Belles! Our customers especially love the gamecocks and tiger paws to show their team spirit! Chances are though, if these are sold out, I'm sure there's a princess, or a beach theme, or some other animal or item that you'd love! When I had my first child, a family friend gave me the sweetest shadow box with a dress made from a folded map of the town my daughter was born in. It still hangs in her bedroom to this day, almost 12 years later. I haven't attempted to duplicate the girl version of this art (yet), however I always wanted something similar for my son, and hence these precious jon jon shadowboxes were born. So far, I've only managed to create two for our booth, the SC flag (pictured) and a map of Spartanburg. If you are looking for a sweet baby gift to reflect that babies home, that will likely be treasured for years to come, stop by and grab one of these while they last!

Do you know about Fun Fridays in the Maker Space ? Each Friday afternoon they create a fun new project to keep your kids busy and creative throughout the summer break! Each child who attends will receive one apron for the summer to keep and decorate, and one wooden pin to paint and add to their apron at each workshop they attend. Workshops will be on Friday afternoons from 1-4PM (drop in). Parents will need to stay with their child during the entirety of these events.
