Warmth and hope is what's needed when the world faces hardship, over and over. Thank you, to all who showed up at our event for World Homeless Day on Tuesday. We were touched by your heartfelt involvement. It's not easy coming face-to-face with the severe struggle we often see downtown Spokane and beyond. And it's hard to know how to help—but you did.
And thank you to those who donated items for the warming bags! We handed out over 200 bags on that rainy October morning, along with hot coffee and pastries. Enjoy this short video recapping the time we shared with those who needed to know that someone cares.
