Oh Neat Organizing
Overstuffed? Overwhelmed? Let me help!
The chaos room!
Almost everybody that I have met has an area of their home that collects clutter. You know the one I’m talking about! It starts innocently enough…you stack a few boxes in the corner to go through later. Then, you add some bins of holiday decorations, some mementos that your mom brought over from your childhood, photos, old tech, furniture that you “might use later”, important documents (I have to keep those for taxes, right?!), half finished projects…the list goes on and on. Maybe it’s just closet, a whole room, or an entire basement?
The clutter monster is real, it moves quickly and is mighty overwhelming! Often, people don’t even know where to start, so…they just don’t. Maybe they just need a boost to get started!
This basement has dreams for it that include a storage space, a place to relax, and a big ol’ space to be creative and make art! So, in I went to start the process of sorting and decluttering. In a couple of 4 hour sessions, the client’s space was accessible and categorized into bite-sized, manageable chunks that she felt confident she could tackle on her own!
Is it Pinterest perfect? Nope!
Does she now know where to find her items? Yep!
Is it just the boost she needed? Absolutely!
And I can’t wait to see what she creates when she finishes her art room! 😍
Home Gym💪
I usually recommend simple, versatile products to clients because they are the best investments - they provide good ‘bones’ and can be repurposed as needed.
But every once in awhile, purchasing a product for a specific use is SO worth it!
Just check out how much this little gym rack holds! It’s an absolute workhorse—weight capacity is a whopping 120 # per shelf and it contained all of the gym equipment beautifully! 😍👌

🥫Pantries and bulk food storage 🫙
Sometimes the messiest places are the ones kept behind closed doors where we can hide the clutter. 🫣
Ironically, these are often the places that we need to be the most functional and organized!
Only a few things were left for relocation at the end of the session (a silverware box and a new set of bakeware).
This client just needed some clear zones and a handful of labels and now she’s able to quickly take stock of her inventory.
Can you spot my favorite special request from this client for her grandkids? 😍 See the comments below the pictures!
Pantries are my favorite!! 😍
Don’t know where to start? Try these 5 steps!
1. Remove expired food.
2. Donate things you overbought or aren’t going to use to a food pantry!
3. Create zones for similar items (baking, soups, condiments, etc.)
4. Corral smaller items into labeled bins/baskets.
5. Place extra/back-stock items in the harder to reach areas - your prime real estate space should be given to your most frequently used items!
Thinking outside the box!
Sometimes storage spaces are underutilized simply because of what they are called. Like this 'coat closet' off of the kitchen for example... it was not being used much and was collecting unwanted clutter. Food storage was lacking in the kitchen, so the closet was gutted and made it into a pantry. 😍 See photo comments for more details!
Pantries are my favorite!
Community spaces are bound to get a little bit crazy! With so many hands in the pot, this church supply cabinet needed some clarity and simplifying.
By clearing out the excess, organizing items according to frequency of use, and removing old organization that was no longer working, this space is much more light and functional.
Last but not least, I LABELED THE HECK OUT OF IT. I am just one of the many people that utilize this space, so clearly labeling everything means:
1. Things get put back where they go!
2. It’s easy to know which items need restocked when a space is empty!
3. The space doesn’t collect random junk that doesn’t belong there! (My very fave!)
Where are my gardening peeps at?!
Summer is coming to a close - are you looking for a new system for saving all of those seeds and envelopes? I love my photo organizer turned seed box! I've used this for the past few years and it's worked really well! Keep your seeds in a cool place so they last longer (I keep ours in the pantry).
The hardest part is keeping my seed collection pared down! 😜
What seeds are you saving? What do you use to organize them?
Hey there, I'm Tia!
I have always loved organization. As a kid, I loved to organize my toys, school supplies and crafts, but it wasn’t until I became a mom that being organized became a necessary skill. I found myself in constant paper and toy clutter, and I knew that I had to start putting systems in place to stay organized. After helping friends and family organize their spaces, I was told that I helped to ease their minds and bring calm to their chaos. This encouraged me to take my love of organizing from a hobby to a career.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, and while organizing and managing people is different than organizing and managing a household, they both aim to serve PEOPLE, which is my favorite thing to do! I want you to feel seen and heard when I am with you -- to lift you up out of the overwhelm and give you hope! I want to help you turn your home or office back into a place where you can relax or work more efficiently.
Please don’t be embarrassed by the condition of your unorganized space! My goal is to come alongside you and help. I will never make you feel worse than you already do! I know how easy it is to become overwhelmed and will never pass any judgment - truly. Let’s take back your life so you can spend time with the people you love and doing the things you enjoy, without the stress and constant chaos!
