JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assistant Store Manager

Are you a people person? Self-Motivated? Do you love working with cars?

If so, here is good news for you! Take 5 Oil Change is offering an opportunity to showcase your skills and join our growing team of full-time crew members and l**e techs!
No experience required!

We will train you how to be a l**e technician who can change oil, replace wiper blades/air filters, fill air in tires, and perform other light maintenance services. We will also train you to: open, close, develop staff, read financial statements, and run a business. All you need to do is be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude to the shop!

Starting at $17.50/hr., Raise, profit sharing, competitive benefits after 90 days.

Some of our most successful team members are those that joined the team with no experience at all. Many others were once servers, restaurant workers, mechanics, retail employees, landscapers, and other skilled trade workers!

As a Take 5 crew member, your job will be to:
• Perform the duties of a L**e Tech.
• Manage the shop flow and ensure each tech role is done to brand standards (MOD)
• Ensure team has the inventory and tools to succeed.
• Perform safety and hood roles as appropriate/necessary.
• Echo key call outs
• Ensure priority position and proper 2- / 3- man process.
• Know and follow all safety procedures in accordance with the company.
• Handle cash transaction.
• Manage the discount book.
• Constantly develop the team’s skills in and out of the shop.
• Address (and solve) customer problems complaints before they leave the shop
• Ensure shop meets all brand standards: cleanliness, signs, hours, uniforms/grooming
• Keep inventory accurate including counting, receiving, and making adjustments.
• Prepare for a management position inside or outside of Take 5.
All our crew members need to meet the following requirements:
• Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
