We’ve teamed up with @mtnlakesbrewco to create Bierfreund, a unique Roggenbier brewed with weizen yeast. This beer sits between a hefeweizen and a dunkelweizen but is made with rye instead of wheat. Expect a beautiful amber color with rich rye and malt flavors. The weizen yeast adds a touch of haze, banana notes, and a hint of clove on the finish. Complex yet smooth, creamy, and refreshing—come try it for yourself!
Rules for the Lester cup brew off:
1. Visit each brewery and collect a stamp when you sample a pint of their official Lester cup entry
2. Once you collect all your stamps cast your vote for the winner by selecting one brewery
3. Deposit your final vote tear-off in ballot boxes located at any of the six participating breweries
4. Keep your completed ballot with stamps. This will be your entry ticket for the awards party: September 29th at the Bellwether

The ‘Radler’ owes its creation to a 1920s German innkeeper named Franz Kugler. As the story goes, a large group of cyclists riding through the Bavarian countryside arrived at his tavern, exhausted and parched for beer. Realizing he wouldn't have enough to quench the crowd’s thirst, Franz needed a quick solution. To stretch his beer supply, he added his stock of lemonade to his kegs. Franz coined his drink “Radler,” the German word for “cyclist.”
