Osprey at Carnahan AFH - Spokane WA

Osprey caregivers took it upon themselves to help our residents start the mornings off on a positive note by providing positive affirmation cards at the breakfast table. Working in long term care with aging adults, we know that each day can be a struggle for many. The fact that my caregivers took this upon themselves without any prompting is a true testament to the amazing individualized care that Osprey provides.

Our activities director Charlie has been working with our residents creating personalized vision boards - they went though magazines and newspapers finding items that are representative of themselves!

Our newest caregiver Lauren spent the afternoon baking a fresh apple pie with the residents! They were so happy be productive and to use up some apples in the fridge 😊 now they are all enjoying some yumminess 😋

Open bed at Osprey is still available! We are looking for an individual to join our Osprey family and benefit from the high level of care we provide.

Osprey is a place where someone can truly age in place with our low caregiver to client ratios, highly trained staff and nursing/medical oversight.

Charlie, our activities director, led the residents in making a strawberry rhubarb pie using our very own rhubarb from the garden!

It was a day full of fun, laughter and collaborating with one another on how to make the best pie! 🥧

Celebrating the life of Bud!

We were blessed to have the family of our recently passed Osprey resident come and cook for the caregivers and our residents this evening.

It is important to celebrate these happy moments and support the caregivers who are doing the day to day work ensuring our clients and their family members are well cared for.

I am very thankful that this family became part of our Osprey family. And I am particularly thankful for our amazing caregivers at Osprey.

Our Osprey Family had a wonderful time celebrating together this last week! As we close out this holiday weekend we want to share how grateful we are for all the people who surround our little community! We could not do what we do without the love and support from each of you!

We had a wonderful time doing a thanksgiving art project as a family at Osprey! We have so much to be thankful for. Most of all, we are thankful for each other!

Celebrating Veteran’s Day today with our resident veteran, Robert. Thank you to Robert and to all others who have served our nation through the armed forces!

Happy Halloween from our Osprey family to yours! We spent part of yesterday carving and decorating pictures pumpkins together. It was fun to see what each person’s creativity!

It is wonderful to see our Osprey Family enjoying each other’s company in the evenings. Yesterday, our residents enjoyed a college football game together! We are so grateful for the wonderful sense of family and community we have here at Osprey!

This last week has been filled with so many blessings! We were able to bring in two wonderful new residents to join our Osprey family, and our home is full once again! Our team really stepped up to ensure that our new residents feel welcome and at home at Osprey! We are blessed by everyone in our community, residents and caregivers alike, and we look forward to adjusting to a new routines as our new family members settle into their new home!

Congratulations to Robert for completing your first day volunteering with Goodwill helping you to accept and sort donations this last week! We are proud of you!

This afternoon, Kristin took our team to Green Bluff for a team building activity. It was a wonderful time to get to know each other and bond as a team 👏. Thank you Kristin in investing in us! You truly do love and inspire your people ❤️! We appreciate you and we could not ask to be blessed with a better leader!
