If you, or any of your friends/family, would like to be a court monitor, you can sign up at https://www.spokanehoopfest.net/court-monitor/. Typically, court monitors receive different t-shirts (not the Walker ones), but anyone affiliated with Walker Construction who volunteers as a court monitor will also get a Walker tee. Just let me know so I can provide your name to them, and they will add it to your other goodies that will include shoes, shorts, and hats!

Construction is now underway at the WSU Champions Center project and the Walker team of Josh Chrisman (PM), Banet Mutungi (PE), Kenny Easley (Supt) are thrilled to be back on another WSU project. Joining the crew is Foreman, Frank Young, Carpenter, Will Poe, and Apprentice, Billy Brown.

The Champions Center will serve as the nucleus of every student-athlete's time at WSU. From one-on-one tutoring sessions in the academic center, professional development workshops, or privately visiting a counselor about their mental health, they will find it in the Champions Center.
Champions Center will be located within a renovated portion of the Physical Education Building (PEB) centralizing the staff into one building as well as open up the academic, mental, and professional development space, which is critical to reaching their full potential. This renovation will address the holistic wellbeing of each and every one of the 450+ WSU student-athletes with:
• Academic resources
• Mental health services
• Professional development

Walker’s Safety Director, Marshall Pancoast, attended the ABC National Convention in Florida, where he participated in the Safety Committee and the ABC National Board Meeting. His focus was on leading a training session aimed at advocating for the STEP Safety Management System. This system involves self-evaluating an organization's safety program, boasting proven results. The event saw representation from various companies based in Spokane, all of whom enjoyed the sunshine and showcased our industry expertise across different forums. Moreover, the convention hall boasted numerous vendors showcasing technology and equipment, alongside hosting the Craft National Championships and Construction Management Competition.

Exciting progress at the Iron Bridge Apartments! The 108,000 SF, 4-story wood-framed structure is shaping up beautifully, with 162 resident rooms including Urban, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom units. Plus, the amenity building is taking form, featuring a community kitchen, rooftop seating, and a fitness/yoga space for residents to enjoy.

Shout out to team members Project Manager Brendan Monroe, Superintendent Travis Amann, Foreman Jon Oliver, Project Engineer Josh Wetmore, and the entire Iron Bridge crew.

The project on the south side of I-90 between Liberty Lake, WA, and State Line, ID, has garnered significant attention since commencing construction in August 2023. This state-of-the-art facility will include a large indoor showroom, a service center, a parts department, and other amenities to support Bretz RV & Marine. The entire 30-acre facility is on track to be completed by August 2024, with Bretz RV & Marina already operational.
