hit my writing goal yesterday while my youngest was at Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Aiming for 6K today and then I'll be able to get this finished over the weekend.

Working through a migraine today, and clerical stuff when it comes to Tenzin's computer needs (he needs a new one for his animation and programming he's getting into through school), and I have to rewrite the last chapter I wrote. I am hell bent on getting this damn book done this week. Need to get my TO BE FINISHED file from 100+ to nothing.

Lots happening, lots coming. I'm focusing on the writing and business side of writing again while writing.
Meds seem to be working well, I'll be adding another to the mix for daytime mental focus, but so far everything seems to be working well together and I'm being productive. *fingers crossed* it continues.

In Jan 2024 I'm going to get the final edit of Undiluted Minds done and reveal the new cover. after that, I will never touch that book or read it again (for obvious reason). I would like to do a campaign where readers do a instagram or tiktok 30 seconds review of the book with the but I'll get that information rolled out when the time comes. I'm hoping to get it turned into a screenplay (once I start pitching it) to see it on screen.

As much as I hate what Amazon does to authors and has done to the industry, their prime days got me the upgrades to some software I needed to update for 1/4 of the cost. Will be able to get playing with some videos and trailers for the other projects that are completed and in the process.
Plugging away on this romance/thriller still. I forgot why it wasn't finished when it is nearly finished, because I am stuck on it.
Ugh! Oh well. I will get it done this week.

20 pages left in this edit then onto finishing the story and to get a body count! Every romance needs a body count in Danae Land.

I am in bed sickly but still editing and working through this side project that I want to get kicked out since it's nearly completed, I might as well get it out there.
Tenzin's birthday gifts were shipped and arrived in their actual packaging instead of a box, so he opened them up and is already playing with his new mouse and keyboard. Gotta love Amazon.

Doing a little mental cleansing that is non-fantasy related so the voices of the characters don't merge over into the next project. That'll give me a Dec 1st release of a one-off I've been working on for a while now.

Last night after taking my mental health meds so I could sleep, the ending boss fight I had been struggling with (why the book isn't finished yet because I couldn't visualize it so I kept adding to the book to prevent getting there) came into vision and I quickly jotted down the notes in my Kindle paper-notepad thing.
Ending rapidly approaches, and I know what it is.
Reading through last 30 pages for editing purposes then tackling these last chapters and I might have it finished today!

A HUGE chunk of the final chapters were done today. I love it, and I love the direction, need to tie something up, and then the final scenes and wrapped. Will hit the Nov 1st release I was aiming for.

I already have four chapters done today, and the first 66K is in the hands of a beta for feedback before they help me choose the ending since there are two options.
I know, I have issues and can't commit.
I will have it done by Sunday night though, most likely sooner since these chapters are steering me towards the final Boss fight like I need.

Yesterday I got a chunk of new chapters pounded out on Academy 3.
The end is rapidly approaching. I think I can have it done by Sunday, then I'll edit through it for the hundredth time and get it ready for Nov 1st presale release. I'll make up the Verboten Love trilogy collection and have that ready for release on Dec 1st, including the hardbound edition. While doing that, I'll be working on Prophecy 4. trying for Christmas on that one, but I don't know yet.
