New logo! New slogan!

The City owns the lot at Haven and Wellesley, but they are planning to hand it over to the Northeast Public Development Authority to develop the kind of mixed use building the neighborhood has been calling for in plans for at least 20 years. Very cool.

We lost our sheriff this week 😔

Paul Hamilton, known as 'sheriff of Hillyard' and booster of neglected Spokane neighborhood, dies at 66 Paul Hamilton sold insurance out of his office on the main drag of Hillyard, but it wasn't the main commodity he offered.

Boy howdy are we excited to announce this!

Our dude Victor has been working like a dog towards the opening of our new restaurant that is opening up in the Hillyard Neighborhood this Wednesday!

Located at 5016 N Market in , Locos is going to be a huge hit! All of Victors favorite foods like burgers, ribs, sausages, and yeah, even a dang good Caesar salad will be housed there.

Of course we make all of the buns being consumed up there, and we will definitely have beer on site as well.

So, do you wanna come eat, drink, and be merry?! Here are our hours this week!

Wednesday - 2pm-8pm
Thursday - 2pm-8pm
Friday - 2pm-8pm
Saturday - 11am-8pm

These hours will be expanding as we get our feet under us and figure it all out. In the meantime, let’s get Locos!

There are always a lot of questions about reporting illegal fireworks. This organization has set up an option.

Help us keep 911 lines open for emergencies. Use our new online reporting for nuisance fireworks.

Online reporting will be open from 6pm-midnight on July 4th at srec911.com. Once you file a report, it will be logged and the appropriate jurisdiction will be made aware.

Please note that your city may have approved the use of legal fireworks during specific times.
