🌞🚿 Did you know rain isn't the ultimate cleaner for your solar panels? A December 2023 groundbreaking study from the U.S. Department of Energy reveals that without the right tools, stubborn grime and pollen can build up and lead to problems and lost efficiency.

"Regular rainfall is not sufficient to assume that solar plants are fully cleaned in certain environments,” said Matthew Muller, a research engineer within the PV Performance and Reliability group at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). 🇺🇸

You thought rain was enough? Don't feel bad. Just follow these tips:
Mark your calendar for a clean-up session once per month, especially if you live in an arid climate. ☀

Use a soft brush to avoid scratching the surface of the panels.
Choose early morning or late afternoon for cleaning to avoid hot temperatures that may cause thermal stress on the panels.

Ouch! 😧 Don’t scratch or mark up your panels using the wrong tools.
Even window washing brushes and squeegees are too hard and can cause permanent DAMAGE in the form of microscratches. 😨
