Specializing is something I bounced around so much before choosing to come back to my practice.
When I say specializing, what do I mean? I mean I am specifying my niche to home births, birthing centers, free births, rural home births, and nature based births including cannabis doula work.

WHY WOULD YOU LIMIT YOURSELF? I've heard that a few times, but I love having this conversation. There are so many incredible doulas in my area and if I don't feel like my talents or preference is aligning with your birth plan, I will 100% refer you to an incredibly talented doula that provides impeccable care and service. Everyone's birth is important + having high quality care and support is vital.

As a birth doula, I want to thrive in my practice + I want your birth to be ethereal. I want to ensure you are receiving high quality education tools, aromatherapy, preparedness, open communication, and so much more. My clients are so special, so I appreciate all of your love and support in understanding this eclectic practice of mine!

Thank you to all who have served, are currently serving + all those prepping their lives to begin serving. For those who lost their lives fighting for our country + our freedoms, we are forever in debted to your selflessness.

Being a myself, this day is vastly important as many generations of both my wife's & my own family have served and are still serving. ❤

Military spouses are still fighting the good fight alongside their partner + I want to bring the ultimate limelight to this incredible pilot program.

The Department of Defense (DoD) is launching a pilot program on January 1 that will cover the use of Doulas + Lactation Consultants for mothers and birthing partners covered on Tricare.

This program will be studied to measure the quality of care and the impact of doula assistance and breastfeeding support separately, weighing whether both should become a permanent benefit under Tricare according to the DoD.

Let's celebrate on this Veterans Day to honor great stride that the military birthing community is seeing in the new year. 🇺🇸

• Mother Earth's Pregnancy Tea •

Empowering the pregnancy through mother earth. I am passionate about utilizing herbal magic and food nourishment throughout your pregnancy + in your life in general to fuel your whole body. Let's start small + channel our inner herbal goddess.

This pregnancy tea contains an impeccable list of every vitamin you and your growing baby need. Ditch the prenatal vitamins + source high quality, wildcrafted herbs.

Red Raspberry Leaf: Celebrated in traditional and folk medicine for its use as an herb for women. RRL acts as a uterine tonic, and is used in folk medicine to prepare the birthing persons body for birth + to shorten labor.

Oatstraw Cut: Used as a tonic for health, beauty, and emotional resilience. It's rich in calcium and magnesium.

Nettle Leaf: A tonic herb to strengthen and tone the entire system + is a useful support in fertility. Traditionally speaking, it eases leg cramps and reduces pain.

Alfalfa Leaf: A general restorative herb. Folk medicine shows that alfalfa is used to support the thyroid and to ease morning sickness. Rich in vitamin K, which supports a healthy circulation and proper blood clotting.

Lemon Balm + Rose Hips: these are simply used for flavor. The heaviness that comes from the leafy green herbs, the lemon balm and rose hips gives you a flavorful lightened tea that makes it delicious.

Recipe:
2 oz. Dried Stinging Nettle Leaf
2 oz. Raspberry Leaf
1 oz. Oatstraw
1 oz. Alfalfa Leaf
1/2 oz. Dried Lemon Balm
1/2 oz. Rose Hips + Rose Buds

1. Mix all herbs in a wide-mouth gallon jar. Cap tightly.
2. In a gallon jar - boil filtered water + steep 2 cups of herbal mixture overnight.
3. [Next morning] strain herbs + store in fridge for an incredible iced tea. Add honey or sweetener of your choosing. 🍯
