One of our patients with Alzheimer's has increased anxiety due to her thinking another resident is stealing her "baby" - the other resident is always holding a baby doll. Our patient was not easily redirected through traditional care plan practices. Needless to say, our Shreveport, LA team got creative with ensuring comfort for her. They made sure she got her very own "baby" and immediately decreased her anxiety.
