Meet one of our artists: Eric Bess! He specializes in portraits and black and grey realism. He has two terminal degrees: a Masters of Fine Art in Oil Painting from the Academy of Art University and a PhD in Art Theory from the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts. He became a college professor in 2008, teaching first at Clark State Community College, then Wittenberg University, and now he is a full time associate professor at Northern College (previously Fei Tian College in Middletown, NY), which he boldly claims will soon be the best college in the world for learning traditional methods of making art. He enjoys realistic painting and drawing and has written hundreds of art related articles, especially for the Epoch Times newspaper.
