Southeast Spartan Field and Tom McBride Track are undergoing a spectacular transformation this summer! 🏟️✨ These much-needed upgrades are set to elevate our facilities to new heights! 🔨👷🏾👷🏿‍♀️We are incredibly grateful to Graham & Hyde Architects, Inc. and O'Shea Builders for their tireless dedication and hard work in bringing our vision to life. As we enjoy Winter Break over the next couple of weeks, I want to wish our families a happy, healthy and safe holiday. We are thrilled to announce the birth of the brand-new Springfield Southeast Spartans Drama Club, and it's buzzing with student enthusiasm and talent! 🎭🎉 Their main goal is to create a welcoming space for all students who share a passion for the arts. We believe in fostering creativity, building self-confidence, and, most importantly, creating an inclusive environment where everyone can shine and feel like they truly belong. The dedicated teacher sponsors are over the moon about boosting the performing arts scene at SSHS! They've been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make this club a reality. But that's not all! We're excited to share that our very first performance is right around the corner. 📅 On November 6th, we will be partnering with UIS for the "ENOUGH! Plays To End Gun Violence" event.
