Our Story
This is how Creative Kinyobi was born.
I started playing around with jewelry-making in 2010 when I first created my glow in the dark wish bottle necklaces. Then I began to put charms with the bottles to make them even more personalized. When a customer asked if I had a certain style charm and I did not, I would either go out and buy some or order them online. My charm addiction really heightened when we moved to South Korea and I took a trip to Dongdaemun Market in Seoul, Korea. I stumbled on a spot with thousands of charms that you can pick out by hand!!
I really loved being able to choose each piece and I began buying way more than I needed. I wanted to offer my customers this option so they can experience the excitement of virtually 'handpicking' their own charms out, no matter where they lived in the world.
In October 2016, Creative Kinyobi on Etsy was born. I was familiar with Etsy since I have been selling my art online there since 2012. I needed separation between my art and jewelry.
