Please check your emails for an important RESCHEDULE email for Kalahar-YAY! 🎉

03/10/2023

If you haven't checked your email, here is an important message regarding tomorrow's snow day and Kalahari:

Good evening Kennedy Band Families,

If you wake up tomorrow and see some maniac with a shovel trying to clear Masonic, that’s just me, trying to will power our Kalahari Field Trip into happening 😅

Unfortunately, we will be having to reschedule our Kalahari field trip due to predicted road conditions – we WILL reschedule AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! I will be on the phone all day tomorrow with Kalahari and our busing companies to make it so. I’m hopeful we can still do it in March, but I guarantee we will find a time for it regardless!

To be clear – this is NOT a cancellation. If you paid for Kalahari, all forms/payment will still be valid for this reschedule. If the rescheduled date ends up not working for your calendar, we will figure out a refund situation.

I’m sorry, I wish I had more power to influence mother nature, but it’s seeming like everything in March has been taking a zig-zag due to snow. I’m recalling a time back in 2020 when my band program at the time had a big trip to Chicago planned, paid for, and we were even about to step on the bus, only to have it shut down by the world, unable to reschedule. I’m grateful we have this opportunity to pivot this experience for our kids, as it’s one of my favorite days of the year!

The big swim will continue… Love you all!
Mr. Arnold
