She went missing on 5/14 in St. John around 7:30pm

It’s been too long and I guess we will never know what happened to miss Freya. I didn’t know I could love a dog so much until we had her. Still, over a year and a half later and I think of her every single day, wishing things could have went differently. We love you forever Frey-Frey. I know one day we will be reunited whether that be on this Earth or in the next destination. Either way, I can’t wait to hear your woo-woo again. (Sorry for the sappy post.) I miss her so much.

08/23/2022

16 months have gone by and I still think of Freya every single day. I can’t believe it’s been this long and we still have no answer.

05/15/2022

I have missed her for an entire year. Not a day has gone by where I haven’t thought of her. Miss you forever Ms. Freya 😣

04/13/2022

11 months of missing you frey-frey. I just want answers 😓

03/01/2022

May 14 will be a year without her. I can’t believe we never found her😭

01/18/2022

It’s been 8 months and still not a day goes by that I don’t think of Freya. My heart is broken just wondering what could have happened. She was the best dog I’ve ever had. 😣💗 I failed her.

12/19/2021

My heart is still broken everyday. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss her. She was the cutest, sweetest little thing. I hope she is ok. I really really do. 😭

11/11/2021

I will forever miss you. I just wish we knew what happened.

Our German Shepherd- Golden mix passed away in 2017 due to cancer. He lived 17 years & I was 17 at the time. So he is all we ever knew. Our other dog, Loki, was so lonely without him. As time went on we adopted Freya so that Loki was not alone. We got her later on in 2017 for my mother’s birthday (Christy) and she was infested with ticks and fleas. We got her her shots, treatment, and made sure she felt loved. She grew such a different, unique personality. She never really barked, only “woo-woo” noises. She loved to tackle her dog food bowl🤣 When my son was born in 2019 she and him grew close. She made him laugh for the first time. Freya loved to pounce at him and lick his face. She truly is the most unique and loving dog. She never ran away before. She was so close to my mom that even my mom never wanted to leave her. We hadn’t gone on vacation since we got her, but I assured my mom it would be okay and she would be there when we got back. My mom worried so much about leaving her. I wish I knew she would have been right. I’m so sorry, mom. I’m sorry we let you down Freya. I wish she just knew we would be back, and we weren’t leaving her forever. That’s what gets me. 😢 I just want to know what happened.

Hearing my almost 2 year old saying “Frey-Frey” just breaks my heart. They were best friends. We all love her. We just want to know whether to keep looking or let it be. But we want to know what happened. Our hearts are broken. We miss her everyday. I appreciate everyone’s kind words and help.

We love you forever woo-woos, I hope you know that.

Freya has been missing since 5/14 and was last seen 5/22. No sightings since. I know the odds are not in our favor, but I can’t stop. Until I get an answer as to what happened to her, I will try and continue to post her. We are going to put more signs up, but until we get another sighting, that’s all it seems like we can do. If anyone has any other advice, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Time is the only thing that heals open wounds. Sure, you can put a bandaid on it, but the pain is still there, the cut is still there. We still haven’t healed. Freya has been missing for 6 weeks on Friday. We have had no leads since 5/22 when she was seen in the woods at 8:06pm and heard until 10pm. I know everything happens for a reason, but why did we have to lose our best friend? We believe she may be on this Earth still, but are also realistic. We won’t give up. I think that maybe the reason this happened was to allow us to come to the realization that even strangers, friends, family want to help find her. People we have never met before pray for her everyday. Maybe it’s to let us be more aware, we have got Frey’s puppy’s air tags (tracking devices), named collars so the tag doesn’t fall off, and they are scheduled to get chipped. We wish we did this before Freya left for her too. Maybe it’s to teach us to never take a soul for granted, because who knows when the day will be that you might never see them again. But we will do everything in our power to never let it happen again. We hope that everyone’s hard work pays off. Even if it takes a while.

Freya never ran away before. We NEVER imagined this could happen. But be very aware, it can happen to ANY dog. We thought this would never happen to us. When she ran our thoughts were, “he’s going to catch her; we shouldn’t worry.” Here we are 6 weeks later, and she is no where to be seen.

Thank you for following Freya’s story. I appreciate every single one of you. I thank you for showing us that there are still good people in the world.

I’m crying as I watch this. We miss you so much Freya.

06/19/2021

We wish we could go back in time and figure out our plans better the day you went missing. I wish so much we could change what happened. The night we saw you in the woods I wish we could have grabbed you. I go over scenarios and things I wish we could have done differently constantly. But, we will not give up on you. We know that the odds of finding you now after it has been that long are not good, but stranger things happen. People win the lottery. I’m praying we do with you. We will continue to share your story. I wish you knew how hard we are trying to get you back. I promise we didn’t abandon you Frey Frey.

5 weeks without her… almost 4 with no for sure sightings. It feels so draining. We miss her and have tried so hard to find her. I appreciate everyone looking and who care for her and her case. I pray that a miracle happens🙏🏼 Please… please…

Freya,

We miss you so much. Our hearts have been so broken. I am so sorry that you felt worried when we left that we wouldn’t be back. We hope you are safe and still alive. It’s been a while since we’ve gotten a true lead. You are the best dog we’ve ever had. So unique with your, “woo woo” bark. So gentle with the baby. The way you flip everything over and try and play with your reflection in the mirror. We miss you at the foot of the bed. We miss you waiting for Kaden to drop his food on the floor. I wish I had gotten to say bye to you. I didn’t realize we wouldn’t see you for so long. I’m so sorry.

Please continue to look for her. We are so broken. 😞

Day 26 of Freya missing. Still no sure leads. Unless we find a body, we will continue to search for our baby. Anything helps. Thank you all for following her journey.
Just as reminder: Freya is a german shepherd, husky, chihuahua mix. She is three years old and is spayed.
She was seen near Scudder/Airport rd/Hanley last.
DO NOT CHASE.

Hi everyone. This morning around 10am we got a call about someone saying they saw her. It was near scudder ave. Which is the area we are looking in. They said she had pointy ears, and had the same body shape as her. But this is unconfirmed. Hoping it was her so we know she is okay.
