1 Corinthians 10:13 says that God will not tempt you past your ability. Now I've heard people say when I'm going through a tough time, that God promises that he will not push me past my breaking point. That he will not give me something that I cannot handle. But that's not what this verse says, it says temptation not trial. It says temptation not storm. It says temptation not challenges. God will push us beyond anything that we can handle because when we get to that breaking point. To that point of sheer exhaustion. To the point where we cannot take it anymore. That is the point where God is. That is where we find the strength and endurance and ability to push forward. That is where when we have nothing left to give God steps in and says "I will give you more". God gives us everything.
Yes, you will get more than you can handle. You will be pushed beyond your breaking point. You will suffer and feel pain and hurt. But you are never alone. God is there with you, He always has been, He always will be. And He loves you more than you can ever imagine.
In the storm, we can rejoice because we have God on our side to carry us through when we can no longer carry ourselves. I love you friends. If there's anything that I can do to pray for you or pray with you please send me a private message. I love you all.
