An idea that was inspired at last summer's nationals and birthed on the plane ride home, came to fruition last night. We could not be more proud to say that the inaugural Dance Plus Cotillion was a huge success! The Cotillion Committee - Tenenico Grote, Sharrilyn rose, Jerri Crawford-Carrier, Lacy Majors - did an amazing job creating a year long program that provided experiences to educate, inspire, and support the girls' development and journey in becoming young women who are our next leaders. It's one thing to talk about it - another to do it...and they did it WELL!! THANKS to all who contributed to the program and putting on the gala event (Solomon Alexander, Belicia Beck, Kenya Buford, Cindy Calendar, Courtney Harris, Cearra Jenkins, Adrianne Martin, Alex Seay, Damanique Sims, Charles Watkins/Covenant House, Andreas Henderson) THANKS to all who attended last night in support! And finally, CONGRATULATIONS to all participants, escorts, and scholarship winners!!!! We are already excited for next year!

It’s about that time!! BACK TO SCHOOL means BACK TO DANCE!! Registration for our brand new dance season begins AUGUST 5TH!!

🎉🎟️ Join us for an exciting evening of dance and baseball! Our Dance Plus Pride Team will be performing at the Cardinals vs. Pirates game on September 17, 2024. Performance starts at 5:45 PM, and the game kicks off at 6:45 PM. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased from any participating DP dancer.

Dancers/parents, you can pick up your tickets from the studio during summer hours. Let’s fill the stands with our DP friends & family and show our support! See you at the game! ⚾💃🏽❤️

THINGS TO KNOW:

🕒 **Arrive early!** Don’t be late... But if life happens, let us know! (314-921-7007)

🖤 **Attire:** Wear ALL BLACK dance attire and bring ballet, lyrical/jazz, and tap shoes.

📚 **Academic Requirement:** Dancers must have a 3.0 GPA or B average. Bring your report card to the audition or email it in advance to [email protected].

🔄 **Returning Students:** Last year’s behavior, attendance, and growth will be reviewed.

**NEW:** Returning members, be ready to perform last year’s small group dances as part of the audition.
