Hello, Everyone! Its been awhile since this page has been active, but we are resurrecting it, and look forward to reconnecting here with the St. Louis, MO/Metro East IL community!

OFA is heartbroken to learn that we have lost a legend today. We are so grateful for everything Tim has done for our sport and art form. His pure love of Irish dance, integrity, and sharp wit were second to none. Tim, we love you, and you will be missed :(.

It's the last week to sign up for our Intro to Irish Dance Camp, and we have a few slots left!

If you've been thinking about signing your child up for Irish Dance, this is the perfect opportunity to test the waters. Dancers will be learning the basic skills needed to succeed as an Irish dancer, and will even learn their very first dance routine, which they will be performing on the last day of camp! With dancing games to be played and new friends to be made, it's going to be such a blast! We can't wait to see you there!!!

The O'Faolain Academy of Irish Dance will be hosting our last camp of the summer next week, Monday 8/6 through Thursday, 8/9, from 9:00-12:00. This camp is for new beginners with no dance experience, as well as kids that are currently dancing at the beginner level.

Dancers will have a fun filled week learning and refining basic Irish dance skills, coordination, and even their very first performance routine! We will also have games, snacks, and performances by advanced OFA dancers!
Camp tuition is $100, and comes with FREE OFA registration fee, should your dancer decide to continue and join the ranks of future OFA champions! Don't miss out, it's going to be a fun time for everyone!

The O’Faolain Academy is heartbroken and gutted to learn that Mo Parsons of Ballinvilla Products has passed away :*(. We will always remember her sweet smile, words of encouragement, and love for everybody!!!!! Sending our deepest condolences to George Parsons and Betsy Parsons. Hi, Everyone!

Now that we St. Patrick’s Day and Worlds are behind us, I’m sure many of you are well into your summer feis planning! As you are setting up your feis schedule, I’d like to warmly invite you to the fourth annual O’Faolain Academy Friendship Feis in St. Louis, MO, on Sunday, July 29th! Here are just a few reasons you might want to consider it…

1) It’s a double-dip! We will once again be partnering with our good friends at the Clarkson School, who will be hosting the St. Louis An Samhra Feis on Saturday, July 28th! Both feiseanna will be held in the same venue as in the past, the beautiful Hilton St. Louis-Frontenac! The hotel has a gorgeous outdoor pool, and is near malls and restaurants galore! Whether you fancy family-friendly or ritzy elegance, you’re within walking distance! They also offer free parking and a free airport shuttle! There is a special room rate of $123 through July 8th if you mention you’re there for the Irish dance event!

2) The Friendship Feis is a black & white, no-wig feis! You can sleep in a few extra minutes after all the fun you’ll have had the day before at The An Samhra Feis!

3) Rock ‘n’ Reel at the conclusion of the An Samhra Feis. See syllabus for details. Its epic. Themed costumes are encouraged, and you can dance alone or in a group of up to four dancers! The trophies are good, too!

4) We are offering single-age groups for OC! If competitions end up being combined, we will combine into odd-age groups whenever possible, so that dancers will have a different experience on day 2!

5) We will be hosting a dance-off for the Ron DiLorenzo Perpetual Trophy! 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place winners from all PC/OC competitions are eligible!

6) We will also be holding a Parade of Champions for the 1st Place winners of all PC/OC competitions!

7) The friendship bracelets!
