Happy New Year! We hope you are enjoying this holiday week with family and friends. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday at one of our 9am or 11am services. On December 24th, we had pipes burst in our student ministry areas that have caused us to make changes to the location of our early childhood and youth ministry classes. Hey Crosspoint Families! This Sunday, August 22nd, is Back-To-School Sunday! All of our students K-12th will join their families in the main sanctuary as we kickoff the fall semester together. We encourage our students, teachers, and parents to wear your School Spirit Wear! See you then!
THIS WEEK'S ACTIVITY: WELCOME SIGNS As we look forward to the days of being back together in person at church, we want to make sure that we are ready with some welcome signs for our church family! For your activity this week, make some signs for the church to use on the parking lot, entrance doors, etc. On your signs, include things like "Welcome Back", "We're Glad You're Here", "Air High Five!", or anything else that you might want to put on your sign! Make sure to decorate them as well! For every sign you make, we will send you $20 Kids Cash. Post them here by end of day on Sunday with the amount of signs that you made, and then bring them with you when you come back to church!
THIS WEEK'S ACTIVITY - VIDEOS OF ENCOURAGEMENT Hey Crosspoint Kids! The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:11 to "encourage one another and build one another up." So, that's what we are going to do! For our activity this week, have your parents send me a video of you giving your friends at Crosspoint some words of encouragement. We will be including these videos in our lesson on Sunday so that we can give each other determination to wake up with a smile on our face, treat our family members with kindness, finish out the school year strong, and live the way God wants us to live!
