ECE students interview Mrs. Kaitlyn
In order to get to know new Lindbergh Early Childhood Education principal Mrs. Kaitlyn McGovern better, the classroom staff at ECE led discussions with the students about how to get to know a new person and start a friendship. With the help of the staff, students brainstormed things they wanted to know about Mrs. Kaitlyn and then voted on the question they were most interested in asking. This real-life situation was a chance to practice friendship and communication skills while getting to know Mrs. Kaitlyn. Great job ECE!

Dressel Students Release Butterflies.mp4
Lindbergh students have been released for summer break! Earlier this week, Dressel Elementary Administrative Assistant Karen Kennedy and a few Dressel students released a trio of butterflies in front of the school.
The school had recently received an extra butterfly larva kit. Wanting to connect with students who visit the office, Kennedy brought a butterfly house to school and created a sign. As the larvae went through the cycle, she moved the arrow to let students know what stage they were in. A few days before school was let out, they were released!
Have a great summer, Lindbergh!
