‘Tis the season to frantically order gifts online hoping that they’ll make it here by the 24th (if you’re like me). If you’re more like this responsible lady you ordered early and you’re now enjoying carefree time with family and friends.

New work for showing the ease of their online ordering and delivery. Any shooter knows the toughest subjects can be kids and pets but these rock stars nailed the natural moments in every scene. They made my job easy.

Pumped to have been selected again for the 200 Best Photographers Worldwide by ! It’s such an honor to be included amongst this group of amazingly talented photographers and I’m looking forward to producing even more good work in the future. Shout to the jury for selecting me and the clients, agencies and crews that make it all possible. Thank you all!

New still life work for featuring a variety of their break room products. It’s always a welcome challenge to shift gears throughout a shoot to focus on imagery featuring such a wide range of products. Certainly not possible without the tasteful and meticulous direction of and the talented prop stylists bringing the elements together!

Thus far we’re at 4 shoots, 20 days on set and countless hours of production building a huge content library of still photography and motion for their new campaign.

It’s been a complex series of shoots in Boston coordinating crew, locations, models, wardrobe and hundreds of various products but with the support of this stellar team the productions are on point.

New images for the launch of the RZ Zero-Turn mowers. Taking my inspiration from automotive photography the slow shutter speed really captured the movement and drama of the new products while keeping the mowers tack sharp. A little cleanup in to perfect the details and they’re ready to roll.

Winter is finally coming to an end so I’m looking forward to enjoying the outdoors with friends again. I’m loving these images from a recent campaign for taking me back to a great evening on set. We headed out to the Texas countryside to capture this superb location at the perfect time.

No fire, no problem. A few Quasar tubes set to fire mode nailed the gag nicely. And no brush fires!

“Spreading joy, hope and smiles” with the kids at Children’s Hospital. Love it!

I’m wrapping up 2022 on the right note with a few more holiday images for . Excellent cocktails always make New Year’s parties or quiet evenings by the fire much more enjoyable this time of year -or anytime for that matter.

Thee are plenty of reasons to celebrate the holidays this week. A Sugar Plum Fairy complete with a sugar swizzle stick or an On Dasher with a toasted marshmallow can certainly get you in the mood. Check out for these recipes plus many more.

It’s 10:37am and I’d consider drinking one of these right now. Too early? Nah.

Tis the season for holiday gatherings with family, friends, coworkers and anyone else interested in sipping some tasty cocktails to get in the spirit.

I had the good fortune to get into the spirit shooting this social media campaign for featuring a series of cocktails made with their signature gins. This was my first time working with the brand and I must say that they’re making some damn fine spirits.

We photographed 8 separate drinks in as many scenarios throughout a single shoot day so it was hectic but we always get the job done. I don’t shoot a lot of tabletop products or liquids so it was a welcome change of pace to incorporate some fresh images into the portfolio.

I’m rolling out a load of new work in the coming weeks from the busy year I’ve had so far. Enjoyable projects and cool clients always make for some great images.

First on the list is a new campaign with Locks. Last spring I shot and directed a content library for them including still images and 10 preroll spots. It was a crazy amount of work for myself and the entire team but certainly worth it for the final product. Stay tuned for more!

New work dropping for STIHL. Shot last fall up in the Pacific Northwest, this was a project I had been looking forward to for quite some time. Traveling to the misty forests of Washington State to shoot this was quite the adventure as we photographed loggers on a logging farm just south of Seattle. Keep an eye out for these and many more out in the wild.

Those forests are all selectively cut as the trees age to about 40 years so as to preserve the farm and make it sustainable for the next generations.

The cabin in the last shot is somewhere I need to spend a weekend. Only about 10’x15’, wood burning stove makes it a great place to unplug and maybe catch a glimpse of a bear or sasquatch.

I’m very excited and honored to have been selected as one of the 200 Best Advertising Photographers Worldwide by ! It means a hell of a lot to be in the company of so many talented artists and certainly humbling seeing so much inspiring work each year in the magazine feature. Over the years I’d flip the pages of this hoping to be in it someday and now I can say I am. Pretty cool.

I certainly couldn’t do it without so many cool clients and tireless crew jumping from city to city… you all know who you are. 👊 Let’s keep it up! And a huge thanks to the international jury along with the team! 🙏

Nabbed a few portfolio images from a recent trip out to Crested Butte, CO. The sun, the low angle and his form all really came together nicely in this shot. I grew up skiing and snowboarding but hadn’t touched it until a few years ago so it’s been quite enjoyable to get back on the slopes each year. Being Midwest-based I’ve found it tough to capture shots good enough for my book as there are so many things working against me when trying to shoot this type of action. It’s typically just a few days spent on the mountain… waiting for the right weather… traveling with people who can perform these kinds of moves... finding the right jump... pressing the shutter at the right moment… so many variables. Respect to the photogs and filmmakers who shoot this all of the time.

Crested Butte is such a unique hidden gem that prides itself on being an old school ski town – not the HWY 70 resort craziness as they claim. A wide variety of terrain kept the days unique and my adrenaline certainly pumping but a day on the mountain wasn’t complete until lunch and beers at the Umbrella Bar yurt overlooking the mountain. Can’t wait to go back!

Last batch from the shoot up in KC back in October with . Damn, that was a while ago and time flew by. WTF?

Seems relevant to me now as I took some time off from the gym but back at it harder than ever in 2021. 6:30am rain or shine!

This year has started out on a great note directing a :30 spot for a healthcare client (due out in the spring) then spent a few weeks with Craftsman Tools. Plenty of new work coming soon!

I’m going to buy a hazer and just bring it everywhere I go to make life more dramatic.

Wrapping up some new fitness work from a couple weeks back featuring merch created for a gym up in Kansas City.

The sickeningly talented gang up at developed the identity for and asked me to drop by to shoot it all in its environment adding some of my flare to the photography and video. From the logo to apparel to architectural elements and much more they didn’t hold back creating a remarkable identity for the gym. Do you even lift, bro? You will there

Don’t ya miss business meetings where we didn’t have to wear masks or full biohazard suits? Same here, y’all. Same here.

I just updated my web site with the stills from the shoot and now on to sift through the hours of motion content we also captured. I’ll post that reel real soon. Like, for real.

This was one of our favorite locations on the shoot. Punch Bowl Social provided everything we needed to shoot a wide variety of nightlife scenes in one location. The place was huge and provided us darts, bowling, shuffleboard and plenty of great looking bar and restaurant spaces for our actors to get into character. After we wrapped some shots did get lined up for some of us. Good s**t!

More work from the shoot with . Much of my time is spent behind a computer or the camera lens so I always enjoy photographing people who work with their hands and aren’t afraid to get dirty.

We shot over 4 days with ZYN in a wide variety of scenes from offices to woodshops to bars to parks so it was a huge challenge to pull off but thanks to the bad ass production team of and things went smoothly all the way through.

New work dropping for from a stills and motion campaign I shot last Feb. out in San Diego. It was certainly a different time in our office scene without any masks or social distancing protocols in place. I can’t wait to get back to these times someday hopefully sooner than later.... stay tuned for more!

I’m on a break for a few weeks now but I’ve been slammed this summer shooting all over the Midwest so I’m looking forward to more work dropping this fall.

I’m currently updating some new healthcare images in my portfolio to freshen things up now that PPE is required in all hospitals and medical facilities. I shot some PPE and retouched them into these images creating much more relevant content for our modern times. With the challenges getting into medical facilities to shoot it’s a great way to add some modern details into my portfolio from my computer. These and more on the way are ready for licensing so message me for additional info and rates.

2020 has been an interesting year to say the least but I’m happy to be returning to set in the coming weeks for a string of shoots ranging from healthcare to food lifestyle and, of course, some power tool action so stay tuned for more updates!

This was our martini shot before we wrapped that shoot so the mood was just right to be shooting a tailgate party. Didn’t really feel like work. I was shooting stills and directing motion for a national consumer brand so it was hectic but a hell of a good time on set with this entire crew and cast. Looking forward to sharing more content as it becomes available!

Little did we all know we’d soon be coming home to a worldwide pandemic, social distancing and a complete shutdown of our economy. I hope you all are keeping positive and managing through this nonsense. See you at the next tailgate when we don’t have to be 6’ away from each other!🍻

I’m finding so many projects to do around the house with the extra time these days. From new updates to my kitchen to new landscaping to new paint on the walls. It’s important to keep productive and come out on the other side with new skills and a long list of accomplishments. But keeping focused on business is the priority so I hope to emerge out of this even stronger than ever.

I’ve also been working out more but that’s negated by all of the boozy Zoom sessions with friends and family so I’ll just call that a wash! 🤷‍♂️🍻🏋️

What new skills and new projects are you working on?

I’m fired up to share a sneak peek of some new work coming soon! Can’t say who the client is quite yet but they were cool enough to let us share some select images. I was hired on as photographer and director creating a huge stills and motion asset library for their upcoming nationwide ad campaign.

We spent over a week out in LA and San Diego back on February –not to mention 4 months of planning. A crazy talented team pulling this one off and bringing it to life! More images and details to come...

I’m getting the feeling I’m going to see a big uptick in stock licensing of this shoot. FaceTime and video conferencing with families and friends have been common asks from buyers in the past weeks and I don’t see it slowing down anytime soon.

It’s been a smooth start here but to all the other parents, kids and everyone stuck at home for the coming weeks I’m hoping we can all maintain our sanity without losing our freakin’ minds!
