STLWineGirl Angela Ortmann celebrates 15 years with a bash at Mai Lee FIFTEEN is an interactive tasting party inspired by 15 people, places, wines, foods and experiences that influenced STLWineGirl's career, and you're invited.

FIFTEEN is like my love letter to food and wine industry and St. Louis community that has supported me and helped me grow and achieve more than I ever could have imagined….

From honoring my mentors and colleagues throughout the years to showcasing memorable foods and wines from time working in San Francisco to New York and especially St. Louis, the evening will feature dishes, drinks, and pairings that highlight my journey from a college student working in chain restaurants to studying the finest foods and wines in five-star restaurants and hotels across the country.

Look for special nods to previous STLwinegirl events and collaborations as well as spotlights on the St. Louis wine industry and the many sommeliers and wine professionals that have helped advance the availability and enthusiasm for wine in this traditionally beer town.

STLwinegirl is FOURTEEN today … crazy. 🍷👩

Incredibly grateful for all that have helped see me through and kept me going. Means more than you’ll ever know. Many thought I was silly for starting this, that I’d be a flash in the pan, that I wouldn’t be taken seriously… but here we are, and damn I’m proud.

I know it’s cheesy and cliché to talk about “doing what you love” for a living, but I constantly feel extremely fortunate that my career is all about sharing my love of food, wine, and hospitality.

Join Les Dames d'Escoffier Int'l (LDEI) on November 15th from 6-8pm for an evening of fun food and wine. Wines from six distinct wine producing regions with apps paired for your enjoyment. Limited tickets.

Dame Joan Long has been generous enough to donate the 9th Street Abbey to host the event. Pinnacle Imports LLC and Grey Eagle Distributors are contributing the wines. This fundraiser will benefit the STL LDEI scholarship fund.
