Thank you all so much for an absolutely incredible shop update last night! The outpouring of love and enthusiasm that shop updates have become is such a catalyst for me as a maker. Every sale, every message, every share on social media that you managed to snag a mug means the absolute world to me... my heart is full and I'm so excited to get back to making. One thing I discovered while shooting my work this last week is just how hard flower arranging can be! I can't decide what I like best with these guys- just a couple flowers? One in each? As many flowers as will fit?😂 what do you think?🤔
The first slipcast mug is in the kiln! I can't wait to share it with you guys tomorrow!🤞🤞🤞 . For any clay appreciators who might not actually work with clay themselves, this is how we glaze the interiors. Then you have to let the piece dry before waxing the foot and glazing the exterior.
