A little to some pretty fantastic wedding signs a Mother + Daughter duo asked me to create for the special day.

What a great idea, right? The signs were propped up all around the venue for the various festivities + could be spotted in a lot of the wedding day (+ next day) photos.

Throwing it back a bit to one of my absolute FAVORITES for this . This one needed a lot of rebuilding, repairing + rethinking but in the end it really made us smile. It traveled all the way to Texas a few years back + sits in a nursery there for one lucky little kiddo. I feel like I need to create another version of this one soon!

So on this I want to let y’all know it’s ok to not be ok and take some time for you. Being an Entrepreneur is hard work + I LOVE 99.9% of it, but from time to time we all need to step away, that’s how we avoid the burnout. So here’s to what’s next!

Look at her living her best life! She’s always cold so even though it’s not that chilly (at all) today I still turned the little stove on for her… came out of the studio to check on the pups + there she was.

I’ve always had a bit of a misfit mindset in life + the way I approach my brand is no different. It’s been challenging to navigate it all + figuring out how to show who I truly am, who my brand really is + who my brand is really for.

But see that was the problem all along, I was trying to “figure out” how to do it “right” instead of just doing it. It felt so uncomfortable + wasn’t working because I stopped relying on the thing that has lead me my whole life, the mindset that I’ve always been comfortable + thrived in.

I just had the best FaceTime coffee date with a good friend + it was such a good reminder to surround myself with people who drive me forward. I hope she got as much love + motivation out of it as I did.

Sleeping on the job… but they’re so cute I’ll let it slide. Basking in the sun is a favorite pastime for these two. I’m trying to take a page from their book and remember to take breaks once in a while no matter how busy things are here. I’m thinking I may have to set up a table to work outside as the weather gets nicer, they can play + I can still be productive!
