Benjamin Obdyke yellow rain screen work awesome with cedar shakes. The Siga is self stick EVEN in the cold. Other brands don't! Believe me a nightmare. Siga is thick so does not tears like others. You can't get it off the plywood once it sets up and seal all nail so again great for cedar shake application or high wind water front which this project is.

Learned a few new thing about Azek new siding products and about the expansion and contraction. But it tight they told me and to dap adhesive behind every shake on the shake panels....

I am always asked why is your framing crew more.? Again it is in the details and time we spend making it plumb square and true. You think should be standard but it NOT.

Siga SA house wrap is most durable wrap we have used. Then we install Obdykes yellow breath or air gap material before installing Waska cedar shakes. Siga material seals all nails so great for water locations like this house…
