What's this mean ???

During the month of March our Traffic Safety Unit targeted vehicles with expired tags (plates/paper). Final numbers from the event:

*522 - Contacts
*351 - Citations
*171 - Warnings

The oldest tag cited was the one in the photo...it expired nearly 7-years ago. You can easily renew your vehicle tags online through Service Oklahoma:

Enid Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a 27-year-old Enid man who was reported missing.
Colby Dennis Sheppard was last seen by family on Dec. 27.
Sheppard is 6 foot, weighs 160 pounds, has hazel eyes and short blonde hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt, a dark-colored hoodie and a gray baseball cap.
Investigators have learned the last confirmed contact Sheppard had with anyone was around 8 p.m. Dec. 27 at the Pizza Hut on East Broadway.
We are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to please message the Enid Police Department, call them at (580) 242-7000, or text 847411 and enter keyword EPDTIP.
The case number is 2024-79.

Back in September, Kerry Rowland (who owns a local fence company), showed up at a competitor's business. He said he wanted to speak to one of the owners about a job but was told they weren't there at that moment. Rowland then asked to use their business telephone to make a quick phone call. They agreed and handed him the cordless phone. After he hit a few keys on the receiver, he handed it back to them without talking to anyone on the other end and left the business. Not long after that, the business started to notice that they weren't getting any phone calls. Thinking it was a technical issue, they contacted the phone company and asked them to open a trouble ticket.

A few days later, they were shocked to learn that the phones were working properly but had been forwarded to another telephone number - Rowland's business number.

Detective Warren Smith began investigating the case and used the victim's phone records to contact people who had tried to call them during this time. It was eventually learned that Rowland had intercepted 26 calls during this time and represented himself as the victim's business. Smith discovered that Rowland had bid on, completed, and got paid for multiple jobs that he likely obtained only because he misled the customers into believing that they were dealing with the victim's business instead of his own.

After a lengthy investigation, Detective Smith believed that he had enough evidence of criminal activity on Rowland's part to get warrants from a judge. Rowland was charged with Unlawfully Intercepting Electronic Communications and two counts of Deceptive Trade Practice. He turned himself in on the warrants this morning and was booked into the Bi-State Jail. His bond was set at a total of $300,000.

Wednesday, October 4th, FEMA is conducting a national test for emergency alerts. Your phone will get the alert anywhere from 2:20 pm (Eastern time) to 2:50 pm. The signal will start being broadcasted at 2:20 and will last for 30 minutes but your phone will only alert once. Do not turn your phone back on until you are safe to do so as the phone could alert when reactivated.

The sudden noise of this alert could disclose the location of your hidden device, so it's best to power it completely down during that time.

OKCPD: Child found safe after car stolen with him inside The Oklahoma City Police Department is searching for a car stolen with a 2-year-old boy inside.

🚩 MISSING JUVENILE 🚩

Madilynn or Madi Hunter was last seen late in the evening on September 1st in the passenger seat of a white Ford Mustang with a black strip at the bottom headed north on Stabe RD outside of Lahoma. The license plate was not observed.

Madilynn is a 14 year old white female, 5'5", 120lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. No clothing description is available.

At 6:20am CST on August 21, Jack was taken into custody in Kansas by Kansas Highway Patrol-Troop G. There are no other details at this time.

-Aggravated domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor.
-Possession of a firearm after felony conviction.

HE IS CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS, AND HAD MADE THREATS TOWARDS LAW ENFORCEMENT. IF SEEN, DO NOT APPROACH.

Jack Andrew Morey II is a 42 year old white male, 6'1", 235lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a scar on his left forearm. He is known to frequent the Garber and Fairview areas.

He is known to drive the following vehicles:
-1989 Ford F-150, brown, OK tag BLK908 (exact vehicle pictured).
-2007 Freightliner Semi, white with "Dwight Morey Trucking, LLC" decal on the doors, OK tag 3FY894, possibly pulling a black and gold belly load trailer. (Make and model pictured)
