Announcing “Bikes and Blooms”!
Tom Reynen’s solo show “Bikes & Blooms” combines his fascination of bicycles (travel photos from Europe) with his love for gardening and flowers. He has found that from whimsical to practical, bikes are universal and can provide a sense of place. His flower photos are meant to highlight the beautiful details, colors and shapes that can be found in nature. In addition to framed prints, matted unframed prints and notecards will be available.
The show will run from June 1-30th at the gallery. Join us for an opening reception on June 8th from 1-4pm. Refreshments will be served.
The gallery has two members at Art-A-Whirl this weekend. Artist Rick Brack and artist John Rajtar will be sharing their work with visitors. Check out the flier for info!
The Wild Hunt
“Freedom dwells at the heart of nature –
and I paint with the same instinct.”
Jessica Lynne Bennett
Imagination is a vibrant and vital element in Jessica Lynne-Bennett’s paintings, the pieces she creates crafting her as much as she crafts them. If Nature is empowered by its will to be unburdened, Jessica intends her work to follow this example.
Jessica started morphing animal abstracts ten years ago for fun, like a puzzle or a game. This eventually turned into a more serious artistic pursuit to capture all that is untamed - the animal kingdom, the trees and flora - all in a colorful abstracted painting style using acrylics.
Join us through the month of May and view the wonderful paintings of Jessica’s.
There will be an opening reception with refreshments on Saturday, May 4th, 6-8 pm.

Raghda Skeik is an award-winning realism artist and calligrapher. Her oil paintings, whether figurative, landscape, or still life, often convey a message that transcends the subject matter. Her process includes painting in layers, which allows her to create life-like paintings with details and depth.
Raghda was born in Saudi Arabia, grew up in the Gaza Strip, and lived in Istanbul and New York. A back injury sustained in 2013 while working as a nurse forced her to be bedridden for six months. Art became her salvation and healing meditation as she started to create from her bed during recovery. Unable to return to nursing at that time, she began a new career as an artist. She currently lives in Minnesota where she works and teaches art classes from her Minnetonka studio, and serves on medical missions abroad.

The River Room at the Stillwater Art Guild Gallery will be transformed into a wonderland of art this December where
award-winning, Minnesota artist Denise Bunkert will be showcasing her large, colorful and light-filled prismatic paintings, December 1st through January, 1st, 2024.
Denise Bunker is a Minnesota native and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Stout, where she studied studio painting and graphic design, and later worked in Minnesota as a graphic designer and art instructor. Travels to Europe and Hawaii solidified her interest in the use of vibrant color and impressionistic styles of painting. She was particularly inspired by the colorful mosaics of Barcelona, Spain which led to Denise developing a distinctive style of oil painting she calls "Crystal Impressionism" - alive with light and refracted colors resembling the brilliant colors of stained-glass windows.
During a transformative time in her life, she began painting a series of butterfly wings - a reflection of her own personal metamorphosis as a person and an artist. This series was the beginning of what would be her new artistic style, and Denise was honored and encouraged after being accepted into the "Arts in Healing" program at the Minneapolis Children's Hospitals.
Please join us for an opening reception while enjoying refreshments and unique gifts of art on Friday, December 8th from 5:30-8:30pm. Show Dates: December 1- January 1, 2024.
