Lincoln Water Polo

Went 1-1 today to finish in 10th place out of 16 in the gold division. Rough day with so many sick athletes out. Only had 10 of 15 players today, but they worked hard!!

Won our first game against Whitney 13-10. We had 15 ejections against us (3 athletes fouled out) but only gave up one goal while man down!

Second game we lost 9-10. Down 6-10 with 4:40 to go in the fourth. Came within one and had 2 good chances to tie it up but couldn’t convert. Team played great and found some grit today!!

We went 1-1 on the first day of the Sierra shootout. Lost our first game to OakRidge 11-13. Bounced back and beat Oakdale 10-7.

Back at it tomorrow at 11:40 @ Sierra college.

Good first game of the season against Oakdale. Jv boys won 10-8, varsity girls lost a good battle 7-12 and varsity boys won 10-4 Good Buddy!

Lincoln finished 6th at the Svendsen Shootout falling to Merced 12-14. Lincoln was led by Erik Asplund with 4 goals and Evan Arredondo with 3. Erik Clark came up with 12 saves.
Great weekend boys!

Lincoln beats Atwater 16-10. Evan Arredondo led the offense with 4 goals and 4 assists. Eric Clark was on fire with 19 saves. Next up- Merced for 5th place.

Won our second game today 16-4 over Buhach Colony. Playing tomorrow at Merced College at 11:20 against Atwater. Go get ‘em Boys!!
