My name is Deon Day. When I am not designing eyeshadow palettes, I spend time with my family, and I enjoy traveling, shopping, and cooking. I am the face and owner of The Eyeshadow Pad. I started by pressing eyeshadows. I would order pigments of all colors and start mixing different hues, noticing the texture and different results depending on the ingredients I had used. I continued experimenting with other ingredients after becoming fascinated by my little colorful eyeshadows. Then I had a brilliant idea to design a fancy logo using the color wheel to represent the beauty of blendable shades.

The color wheel is the eye of my logo and trademark of The Eyeshadow Pad. Starting a business can be rewarding and risky. I have hit some bumps, but I am here to live, learn, and grow. As the face of this brand, I will continue to create vegan, cruelty-free makeup for beauty gurus to discover us. My motto is always “designed with you in mind.”

Notice the difference. I am wearing two shades: medium and chestnut browns are similar shades worn by women of color. These shades provide excellent, feather-weight coverage, as shown in these photos. My complexion in the summer is more like chestnut brown due to exposure to the sun. But in the winter, as my face gets lighter, I use medium brown, or the combination of the two gives me the perfect airbrushed look. It works well if your complexion is walnut (medium)or pecan (warm)brown. Our products are natural, vegan, and cruelty-free.
