Hey beautiful creatures,

Honestly, this is a hard post for me to make & I’m not entirely sure where to go from here. If you read this (my love for you knows no bounds) & if you have any advice/support/suggestions, I cannot tell you how much it would mean to me to have some support from folx who are actually IN the community.

I want to start by attempting to express (because I couldn’t possibly fully), the immense gratitude I have from the depths of my soul for the many, many AMAZING beings who have stopped in the last couple weeks to shop, to have facials, or even just to say hi & see the space I have poured *everything* into this last 2 months in getting ready to finally get Face the Moon in front of your beautiful faces that I’m looking to love & support.❤️

The feedback I’ve gotten has told me that I chose the right community to commit myself to, and that I am on the right path.✨
This community has been so overwhelmingly supportive and kind that it is truly heartbreaking for me to say this as I feel like I’m letting you all down, but I am being forced to close my doors already, as of this past Saturday when I just “officially” opened…
I’m just devastated and I really don’t know what to do.
My husband lost his job a few months back and I’ve been working another job from home still while trying to move into this new location and it’s just been some of the hardest times my husband and I have been through so this is quite the blow. I am positive about it though, as I do feel cosmically called to serve you all and I will not be stopped by this setback.

My old suite at the Plaza behind Dollar General has already been redone and ready for someone else to rent, however, and now I’m so set on being on Main St downtown as it really made such an impact on my business by being visible to folx in the community who might not otherwise seek me out or what I offer, and the feedback was very strong. This month, since I first started just by standing outside handing out candy & biz cards on Halloween to all the dope parents and their awesome kids, I knew that this is where I am meant to be. I know it may take some time to get back here. That’s okay.🙏

Nothing is too big or too small to celebrate. I am choosing to celebrate all that I’ve done that even got me here, as sad as it is that I cannot stay. It was still an important move. I feel more connected to this community than before and just know that I’m still here.

If you have a facial booked with me, I will be reaching out today/tomorrow (please be patient with me I’m sorry, I’m trying to scramble a bit & reframe to figure out what I can do for you all). I should be able to still do them in my old studio at the Plaza if I just bring my table/tools/products, so I will be texting!

I will be starting virtual consultations for the folx who were looking to book with me, but I had to close booking for now as I figure out where Face the Moon will end up again!

Stoughton’s skin fairy is now downtown on E Main St, just below Bonjour Baby, next to Wendigo! (I have been in the Plaza Suites behind Dollar General for the last year working part time.)🧚🏼

I felt it was time to give Face the Moon the space it deserves with this new move to a slightly more spacious studio, and so I created this business FB page to start sharing anything from availability for booking skin therapy sessions, to studio shopping hours, to seasonal sales/specials, to tarot readings, to sharing what I currently have in the studio to shop, to anything I feel like tbh.🌚

I’m honestly really stoked to be at this new spot, and to start really getting to know more of this dope community I’ve been blessed to become a part of over the last few years that my husband and I have been living here. We have fallen in love and are here to stay!🫶
