With consideration Justin stepped up to the plate and decided with the coaches and players the best interest of the players was to move forces to Virginia legends as Virginia Hustle is on hold you will see them arrive sooner then later starting back with some littles. **🥎High School Season Arm Care Plan🥎**

Taking care of the arm is crucial for softball pitchers, especially during a busy season. Here's a comprehensive arm care and conditioning program tailored for a high school-age softball pitcher who is already throwing frequently:

1. **Warm-Up Routine**
**J-Bands**
Begin each practice or game day with J-Bands exercises. These help activate the shoulder muscles and improve blood flow.

2. **Strength and Stability Exercises**
**No Money Exercise**
- This exercise targets external rotation strength, which is essential for decelerating the arm during a throw.
- How to do it:
1. Stand with your arms bent at 90 degrees (like you're pretending to hold money).
2. Keep your elbows close to your body and rotate your forearms outward.
3. Repeat for 2-3 sets of 10-15 reps.

**Pull Apart**
- Use a Theraband CLX (green resistance) or a regular ribbon Theraband.
- Hold the band in front of you with both hands and pull it apart horizontally.
- Focus on engaging your shoulder blades.
- Perform 2-3 sets of 15-20 reps.
**Scapular Wall Slides**
- Stand against a wall with your arms bent at 90 degrees.
- Slide your arms up and down the wall, keeping your shoulder blades engaged.
- Aim for 2-3 sets of 10-15 reps.
**Rotator Cuff Strengthening**
- Use light dumbbells (1-3 lbs).
- Perform exercises like internal and external rotations.
- 2-3 sets of 10-15 reps for each exercise.

3. **Recovery and Maintenance**
**Ice and Stretching**
- After pitching, apply ice to your shoulder for 15-20 minutes.
- Perform gentle stretches for the shoulder, chest, and upper back.
**Self-Myofascial Release (Foam Rolling)**
- Roll out your upper back, shoulders, and arms using a foam roller.
- Focus on any tight or sore areas.
**Rest and Active Recovery**
- Take at least one day off from throwing each week.
- Engage in low-impact activities like swimming or walking to promote recovery.

4. **Nutrition and Hydration**
- Proper nutrition and hydration play a significant role in recovery.
- Stay hydrated throughout the day, especially on practice and game days.
- Consume balanced meals with a mix of carbohydrates, protein, and healthy fats.

VA Hustle is a 16U Competitive Showcase Softball team. We believe that the values of competition, commitment, work, trust, respect, pride, attitude, responsibility, discipline and sacrifice can not be understated with respect to success. Knowledge is power and we instill the importance of education for school and for the game. Our goal is to develop the most highly competitive softball players that reflect these principles.
We will strive to play the best competition available and compete in the highest level tournaments. This, coupled with quality preparation, will allow the players to advance to the highest level of their ability. Coaches will assist the players in the recruiting process within the guidelines of the NCAA. Our staff has been building relationships with college coaches since the inception of the organization.
Our softball program is well received by our community and the families we serve. Those families entrust us to teach their daughters various skills and we accept that honor with great pride. Each participating family plays an important role with countless hours of hard work and commitment, which coupled with your generosity makes it possible for our program to instill the importance of integrity, hard work, and dedication.

Our ladies went 2-1 on the day struggled with the bats early on went 4 innings 0-0 then had some errors allowing some runs and a big bomb home run that took the game away from us.
Finished the day with allowing no runs scored and scoring 10 against our opponents. There is some tough talent out here but our small town girls show up and play.
