April Fools' Day: Corporate larks can become no laughing matter. Ask Google and Volkswagen April Fools' Day is Monday, April 1. That means family, friends, co-workers and even your favorite brands and companies may try to play a joke on you.
Quite.
I've noticed that lately, I have a lot of new followers -
Welcome!
It's collecting.
Hey readers!
We'll be closed tomorrow (Sunday) so that we can fill our makeshift sandbags and put buckets and pots under all the leaks. As long as Hilary allows, we'll be back here doing our thing on Monday.
But call before you come in!
It's been a busy year. Every time I start my rewrite, life interferes. Will keep trying!
I have reached 400 followers! Thank you for your continued support. I could not have done it without each of you. ππ€π

I'm thankful that I'm still cancer free.
Please get a mammogram!
With everything going on in the world, we need this.
Thanks, Chris.

I did a thing today.
I took out an old short story of mine and polished it up.
I submitted it to "Are You Scared?" It's a series produced by Watcher on YouTube.
We'll see if they accept it for production. The name of the story is "Passing Grades."
Fingers crossed.
This is me.
This is my request that you check out my books.
Every book sold encourages me to write another page in The Heretic's Lies.
Thank you!
I should get a t-shirt with this on! π¬
I'm still formatting.
I shall prevail.
Sooner or later.
Oh my!
Well, I fibbed. I didn't write, but I did format. The body of the novel is done. Now, I just have to create the title page, table of contents, dedication and resize to fit 6x9 book format and add the binding gutter, headers, etc. I will also have to get on my other computer and design the cover. I already have something in mind, so hopefully my artwork will, well, work.
Fingers crossed - much like my eyes.
Time for bed.
Hopefully, I will have exciting news tomorrow.
Well, here I am once again with nothing to show. I have, however, rented all of my vacant apartments, so I'm not getting numerous interrupting phone calls. I'm trying to organize things and once that's done, I do believe I'm going to try to start writing - anything to put off the formatting, right?
It feels like a good time to dust off The Heretic's Lies and give it a go.
I believe I'll go back to giving myself a writer's equivalent of a cookie. If I write, I get to post the word count for the day. I know no one really cares, but I like it and I suppose that's all that matters.
Hmmm...think I'll do some writing now. Yeah, why not? It's only 2 a.m. LOL!
Shame on me!
I didn't keep to my publishing schedule. I intensely dislike the process of editing, but I despise having to do the formatting necessary to publish a book. I've gotten about halfway through "The Perfect Solution" and gave up. However, I made a first step into getting back into the swing of things today - I updated my website. Yay!
I wish I could afford to pay someone to publish my books, but I can't. So, I ask that all of you forgive me as I fumble my way into getting these finished books out into the world.
Again, thank you all for your patience.
Fondest wishes,
~ny
