I came across this quote today, and it really hit home for me, especially with the change I am making in my life. I was very hesitant to become a coach for many reasons. My main reasons being that no one would take me seriously, and I am one of those people who I expect myself to be great at the very jump. Seeing this quote made me think. Who is really ever expected to be great at the start? and if you are expected? How many of us are? That is so unrealistic ( at least to me) I believe that great people are born by taking chances and not giving up when times get tough. If you don't take a chance how will you know if you'll be great or even awesome? You just don't. If you work at it, and its something that you really want to be great at, you will achieve it, it just takes time. My point of this post is to say I was hesitant to join coaching because I knew I am not the healthiest I have been or in the best shape of my life, but I am realizing that I am not expected to be "great" from the start,that this is a work in progress, a work in progress I get to share with so many different people, and they get to share their journeys with me also. How would I know I won't be great at this unless I take the chance! I plan on working on my mind, body & soul, until I reach "greatness" and I help other achieve what they believe to be "great"
