My second time relocating for business and this time has been crazier than when I moved to Charleston.

It’s been a crazy week y’all..don’t hold me to it!

I know I’m about to have some good books to read, I have to check these authors out!

All I can say, my car and business property stolen..did not stop a thing while I was in Chas. I was able to provide the services I normally provide, if not better.

Thank God for mua friends and clients that have let me use or given me makeup, or just sowed back into my business for me to repair.

Forever grateful ❤️ now that I’m back in Atlanta. Time to restructure this here businesssssss.

🚨Long Post Alert:

First off, thanks for all the birthday wishes and love for my 38th birthday last Wednesday. I truly appreciate the love! July had been a crazy month with a lot of unplanned last minute changes (including a split move to a diff state although mainly working in Chas) and I was hoping to celebrate the last weekend of the month with high positivity…and I really did have a great weekend…til I was planning to leave my home the early morning of July 31 and realized my car was stolen from in front of my house the night before. 🥴

Probably the most violated I’ve felt in awhile, and all my of makeup kits and ring light were in the car because I was headed to Charleston at 5:30 am to work for a full day of photo shoots.

Fast forward to Aug 1. My car was found by the police and taken to their tow place and nothing of value was recovered. 90% of my main business inventory is gone! I just have a makeup chair, some brushes, and a few palettes.

I’m in the process of replacing things and seeing if my car is fixable…til then I have a rental to help me get around. Thank God & GEICO!

I’m reaching out individually to any clients I have in August, all services will still be provided, just with a limited makeup kit until I can get things restored. Just give me a few days please.

A few have reached out since I posted on my personal page Tiara Mckenzie and it was suggested to make an Amazon wish list and provide Venmo info if have one. (You can check that post to see the actual damage)

Anyone that knows me knows I don’t know how to ask for help but my ego really isn’t that big..everything I’ve worked for these past 4 years. Gone. 5 days after my birthday at that.🤦🏽‍♀️

But you know, I never said “Why me?”…I said “Why not me?” Sadly, I won’t be the last person this happens to but I will be more prepared in the future to try and protect myself and business. Because of the type of car I had, I would have been a target regardless.

Thank you to the ones who have reached out and who have been there for me since Monday. I love my clients and the people I work with! Y’all are the reason I will figure this out. 💜
