Being a Parent is Hard
Add in health issues and dietary restrictions and there's so much more to stay on top of.
Here are my 6 tips on parenting a kid with Celiac Disease
1) This diagnosis is not your fault. You did not fail your kids.
2) One day your kids will thank you for all that you've done to help them stay healthy
3) Mistakes happen. Forgive yourself, and model to your kids how to grow from lessons learned.
4) Empower your kids. Teach them how to read food labels and cook.
5) This WILL get easier. It may not feel like it now, but I promist it will.
6) It's ok to be different.

We hosted some friends for brunch this weekend and couldn’t decide: Blueberry Muffins or Triple Chocolate. 😋

Jewel-Osco is having a buy one, get one free sale, so we got BOTH! 🎉 They were a HUGE hit! The Blueberry Muffins are sweet and tart, while the Triple Chocolate is a chocolate lover's dream (chocolate muffin, chocolate pieces, and chocolate chips!). 🍫🫐

A friend even took the leftovers home and created a 1/2 and 1/2 muffin. LOL 😆
