Please Note: We assemble teams with a specific number of players assigned to each team, so rather than having an imbalanced number of players, we move to a wait list after initial teams are formed. If your child is placed on our wait list, they will be added to a team if a roster spot opens up.
To avoid being placed on a waiting list, we encourage you to register today.
Preparations are underway for the 2025 Spring Little League Season. We plan to open registration in early November so be sure to check with our website then. We need your help getting the word out to potential participants aged 4 to 8. Our league is stronger when kids start playing early.
Did you know that #11 is the only number retired at the Little League World Series. It was worn by New York City firefighter Michael Cammarata who played in the 1991 LLWS. He would lose his life on September 11th, and is honored by Little League every summer during the LL World Series.
The Sunnyvale City Council Meeting is in session. Come on down and voice your opinions on the proposed ban of synthetic turf in the city. Fill out a speaker card and select agenda item number 3. WE SUPPORT SYNTHETIC TURF IN SUNNYVALE!
The Little League World Series Championship Game is schedule for Sunday at Noon (PST). We hope all our local players watch the game, as this is the final game of the Little League season. This is the ultimate goal for every player who wears the uniform. The game will be televised on ABC
Please voice your concerns and help keep our turf fields in the Sunnyvale Community! WHAT CAN YOU DO?!

It takes a village to run an athletic program like Sunnyvale Little League. Except we’re not just an athletic program. We tell all our participants that we are a leadership program first and foremost.
Leadership comes in many forms, but this past week, it was demonstrated by all the volunteers that helped stage the California Little League Section 5 Tournament for 9-10 year-olds.
This group of people went above and beyond, working six consecutive days to ensure that our guests had the best experience during their visit to Sunnyvale.
Leading the kids in our program starts with leading by example, and they showed everyone how to stage a baseball tournament. Nobody does it better!
Thank you SVLL Volunteers!
Postseason Update for 7/15: The Sunnyvale 10/9/8 All Stars were the youngest of our five All Star teams, but they were the last team standing until tonight.
Their incredible summer run came to an end at De Anza Park after losing 6-3 to Aptos LL. The boys were being no hit through five innings before the bats sprang to life. They would rally for three runs, and had the tying run at the plate before Aptos called on a reliever to shut the door.
The atmosphere at De Anza was electric as SVLL supporters were on their A game. A big thank you to all who came out to support our teams this summer.
Our league finished The tournamemt season with three district championships and a section championship. The incredible performances and great memories were plentiful. What a summer. Congratulations to all our players, coaches, volunteers and fans. Go Sunnyvale!
It’s Game Day as our 10/9/8 All Stars take on Aptos LL in the elimination bracket of the California Section 5 Tournament at De Park in Sunnyvale. First pitch is at 5:30pm.
The winner will advance to face Willow Glen LL in the championship game on Tuesday. Sunnyvale needs to win both games and an if necessary game on Wednesday to win the tournament.
Postseason Update for 7/14: The Sunnyvale 10/9/8 All Stars defeated Santa Teresa LL 9-6 on Sunday to stay alive in the California Section 5 Tournament at De Anza Park.

Owen also pitched 2.1 scoreless innings, striking out 6. Keita Sakuma added 3 innings on the mound, striking out 8.
