I’m still here, guys. I’m working on orders, going to school, and as of a couple days ago, we are now trying to deal with our senior cat who most likely has lymphoma and kidney failure 🥲It’s been a lot, but wanted to leave an update about our Tiara….

Our sweet lil old lady. She’s on a tough road. We are looking at kidney failure, OR chronic kidney disease, extremely high wbc count, elevated liver enzymes, abnormal calcium levels, and acute pancreatitis. Her behavior changed late Thursday nite. She became severely lethargic, she was laying in strange positions, wasn’t eating, but was drinking. Her vocalization sounds were even much different. We get her in to her vet immediately. We got her phone call this morning explaining all of the issues above, and how we would like to proceed. Unless we sedate her to do scans and X-rays, we won’t know exactly what’s going on, BUT her vet is pretty sure we are looking at lymphoma and kidney failure. She’s home with us and we are are doing sub q fluids, she’s on antibiotics, pain medication, and she’s on a strict renal diet. The good news Is that she is tolerating her new diet and seems to have perked up a bit as of now. We have chosen to keep her as comfortable as possible and keep loving on her. The moment we see a decline we will certainly make some hard choices. For now, we snuggle her and love her for as long as we get to. ♥️
