Be brave enough to get out there and let go of perfection. ❄️🎿❄️🎿❄️

While I have skied with my family since childhood, its never been an activity where I excell. I’m always the slowest and most cautious on the trails. However, I love being outdoors on the slopes ans taking in the scenery of the mountain. No mayter if it is yoga or skiing, let this serve as a reminder that you can just let go and have fun.

“If you want rest, you have to take it. You have to resist the lure of busyness, make time for rest, take it seriously, and protect it from a world that is intent on stealing it.”- Alex Soojung-Kim Pang, author of "Rest: Why You Get More Done When You Work Less". When I’m feeling my least productive, I often wonder why I’m lacking the motivation and discipline to get through my to-do list. Why am I feeling this way? It’s these moments when I most need to stop working and take a rest. Its no surprise at all. We can’t perform well with a depleted engine. Yet, we often push and push until we are past the brink. The author explains how figures we look up to generally balance their impressive work output with deep rest and distance away from their work. They don’t sit at their desk for twenty hours a day, five days a week. They head out for a run, make time for yoga, read a book, or go for a walk with friends. In a world where overwork is increasingly normal and even expected, rest is more sacred than ever. How will you make time for rest this week? #restandrenew # #restforall #restorativeyoga

I got a new toy! I promise I’ll get better playing this Rav Vast Drum and then bring it to yoga for savasana!
