The New Finished Card Art For The Inked Nouveau Tarot’s The Fool: This is the fully finished and colored art for my version of the Fool card. The following slides will give you more insight into the card and it’s symbolism, both the original and this deck’s.

✨Key Number 0 Represents Potential, The Beginning and The End
✨Yellow Represents Energy, Creativity, Confidence, Communication, Travel
✨Gold Represents Transformation, Durable, Compassion, and Generosity
✨Green Represents Instincts, Growth, Beginnings, Balance, Hope, Inexperience
✨The white rose illustrates The Fool’s innocence and purity. It reiterates the blankness of the Sun, feeding into the idea of beginnings. Like the rose from the ground, The Fool is also detached, free to wander the earth in search of enlightenment.
✨The cracks in the Mirror remind us to be cautious of the paths ahead of us and the adventurous yet to be taken
✨The face in the Mirror Represent different versions of The Fool and of the Reader

Uploaded 6 new early access tarot designs to my Patreon! It is reworks of Strength, Chariot, Moon, and 3 of Daggers (Swords). And brand new designs of Star and Sun!

Moon was reworked to better match the other 2 celestial cards and the others were just reworked because I didn’t like the original designs I did so I redid them. And I definitely enjoy these newer designs a lot more!

The Inked Nouveau Tarot - The Backs Reveal

For the back I have two designs to reveal because I cannot decide on a color for this. On the one hand I adore the soft yellow, the calming and simply beautiful. On the other hand, the purple matches the border and is also regal and just gorgeous. I am just not sure which to do with. What do you think? Yellow or Purple?

The Rider-Waite Tarot has many versions of a back, depending on who is making/printing the deck, however the one pictured here is the most common (from what I can tell) of the backs and is the one I had on my original Rider-Waite. The is just a comparison of the backs as I am doing this with all the cards.

Okay, so, pictured here is the original Rider-Waite Judgement card. I’ve been having a bit of a hard time with this card (and the Wheel of Fortune card tbh) but I think I’ve got a decent idea. 🤔

So hear me out, Bibically Accurate Angel with like other similar vibes to this card. 🤔🤔

There is no solid answer on who exactly the Angel is. Some say Gabriel, some say Metatron, some say Israfil, sooooo probably just gonna pick an Angel to draw tbh.

Most lean more towards Metatron or Israfil, so I’ll probably look up their rankings and go with one of them. 🤔🤔

What do we think of this idea though? Good? Bad? Should I stick with the more human looking Angel (which is kinda boring to me)?

On mine also used an Apple Pencil style stylus as that’s what I use to draw but I’m thinking of doing different versions in the future with different styles and different tools.

I also went with my usual and favorite style of tradi tattoo art. 😋😋

Might make these into stickers. 🤔 What do we think?

Just a little test run on things! 🥰

Here is what the border for The Inked Nouveau Tarot will look like! Finished and fully colored! 💖 Even a little comparison slide with the typical border you’d see on a Rider-Waite card!

The plan is that when I start posting and revealing the art for the cards, there will also be comparison slides to show the difference between the original design and mine. Along with the original’s meaning and symbols and mine after. So that differences can be seen.

This one and the card back slides won’t be as long as there isn’t too much to compare with them. However, I still want to keep the same themes and such. Once we get to the actually cards, there will be more slides and longer text with explanations and such.

I’m almost done with the designs for the Major Arcana of The Inked Nouveau Tarot!! 😭😭 Just need to rework Chariot and finish up a couple more cards and they’ll be done!

I’m also kinda thinking about reworking The Moon. 🤔🤔 I have it kinda match up more with The Sun card and the idea have for The Star card as well but not sure yet.

Gonna play with those 3 some more and see what I think. 🤔🤔

Finished up Flame Emperor Sabo for this series! 😁😁 Had lots of fun drawing and coloring this one! 🥰 Sabo was fun to draw and I’ve got a chibi Sabo ready to go soon!

These are some of my favorite works that I did this year, most of which were done between Oct - Dec. 🤣🤣 @ of them are commissions but I think they're like some of my absolute best work!! I just adored working on them!

And yes, I did use a pic of my baby for the Artist pic. This year was just super bad for me for my body and gender dysphoria so I didn't take many pics and I still haven't.

I also didn't wanna keep using the same pic I pretty much keep using for everything. 🤣🤣 Sooooooo just gonna use my baby, Elvira this year!

Listen, my obsession for One Piece has been reignited like 10 folder so there’s gonna be a lot more OP fanart in the coming year. 🤣🤣 I also really just had to get this drawing outta my system! Whenever I draw Gear 5 again, it’s probably gonna be so much more cartoon-ish than this but just had this idea in my head and had to get it out!
