Rich & Gardner Construction Co. Inc. is an established Syracuse based Commercial Construction Company seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor who will be responsible for the overall site control of a commercial construction project. They will interface with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and assigned project staff to ensure projects meet all construction specifications and contractual requirements while also meeting or exceeding company expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise construction projects from start to finish
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks
- Monitor project expenses, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction crews
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met
- Review and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality control
- Address any issues or delays that arise during construction
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, change orders, and RFIs
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Familiarity with quantity take offs
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Inc. is an established Syracuse based Commercial Construction Company seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant/Contract Administrator who will be responsible for the administrative management for the Company including assisting project managers in writing contracts utilizing templates, ensuring subcontractor compliance with insurance requirements, carrying out administrative tasks such as filing, scanning and organizing contract documents and coordinating office procedures. They will interface with various outside third parties to obtain various documents or points of contact as necessary for project management. They will also assist project managers in soliciting bids.
Job Qualifications
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Notary Public or willing to pursue obtaining Notary Public credential
• Experience working for a construction company a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with outside parties and staff to meet contractual requirements
• Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft office suite
• High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
