🚨 Sorry Ya’ll! We’re closed again on Tuesdays for now until we’re ready to hire, train and extend our hours even more. It’s a lot easier to write a schedule for 5 days a week with 10 shifts than it is for 6 days with 11 shifts and I don’t want to stress myself out anymore over one day a week so we’ll just cancel Tuesdays for now. Thank you all so much and we’ll see you here tomorrow! 💛

We’ve made it! 🥳 The child that I conceived during Covid and carried for 33 loooooooong months is turning 3 months old! 🥲 While we’ve still got work to do to get the space to look and feel the way it does in my head, I don’t want to let another day go by without celebrating this huge accomplishment. My first attempt at opening a restaurant 10 years ago fell apart after only 6 months in business 😓. I’m super excited about this go round because when this restaurant turns 6 months old in November, we’ll be celebrating THREE YEARS IN BUSINESS! Thank you Tacoma for seeing in me what I couldn’t see in myself before I started this thing! Pull up on us this weekend to help us celebrate how far we’ve come! 💛

Happy Wednesday, fam! Meet Lisa, our first restaurant manager! Lisa has been a huuuuuuge blessing to the team ever since she joined a few months ago. It’s still going to take some getting used to but it’s been incredibly helpful to know that I can leave the restaurant for a few hours and not have to stress about anything with Lisa at the helm of the ship. (although I’m legit still stressed out about EVERYTHING 😩) While I’ve learned a lot over the last 2 years in business, I’m aware that restaurant MANAGEMENT is a completely different skill that I do not have nor care to learn so I’m very thankful to have Lisa here so that I can turn my attention to growing our operation. Stop in this week to say hello and congratulate Lisa on her promotion! Also I made a post a few weeks ago about plants and trimmings. Lisa’s the green thumb on the team so please reach out to her if you want to add to our growing collection of plants! 💛

I know the restaurant just opened a week ago and we still don’t even have countertops built out 🥴, but we’re looking for a food truck that already has been L&I approved in the state of Washington. My favorite movie of all time is The Wiz (not to be confused with the unseasoned Wizard of Oz 🙄). It would quite literally be a dream come true to open a space in THE EMERALD CITY one day! It took us almost 3 years to open this restaurant though and I want to go see the wizard nnneeeOOOOOOOOOW so please help us find a food r ruck! 🙏🏾

Happy Mother’s Day to all the ladies celebrating that they don’t practice safe s*x today! 💛 My anxiety wouldn’t allow me to make an official announcement, but today we had a SUPER SECRET SURPRISE OPENING OF THE RESTAURANT!! I’m so happy to have my Mommie in town visiting to help out with the opening! Thank you to everyone who stopped by today and I’m sorry if my mother harassed you for a photo. 💛
