We are operating out of our 1973 Airstream, fondly named Arthur, after the original owner. Our heart and soul poured into its renovations, much like the city we have come to care so much for. We're excited to share our enthusiasm with the wonderful residents of Tacoma. We will provide a swift drive thru service & an inviting walk up window, offering a place to kick start you daily experience or take a break throughout the day.

Good morning & happy October!
What’s happening with GCUC & Arthur’s renovation?
Originally our L&I building/design permit was intended to take 2-6 weeks. It’s been nearly 4 months & we still have no approval. Without our permit we’re unable to move forward with Arthur’s renovations. L&I is extremely understaffed & doing their best to review & approve permits asap.
For the time being we’re location hunting & appreciate your patience. We’ll do our best to keep you updated on our progress & hope to share an opening date with all of you soon.

We're getting close to finishing frame work & putting new floors in. But before that can happen we need to do the dreaded shell lift to work on the outriggers. Wish us luck!

The floor is officially out of Arthur! It felt like a lifetime ago that we started this process & it's super gratifying to see it this far along. After some frame work we'll be ready to install the new floors.

Arthur's belly pan is removed! Happy to be done with this part of the renovation and looking forward to the next step.
We are also working on selecting a location for GCUC and hope to share this information with you as soon as we've made our choice.

Thanks to everyone who's liked, followed and subscribed. We appreciate your support as we continue to work towards opening day & are excited to share more with you. Currently we're waiting for our coffee shop design plans to be approved by Labor and Industries.
While we wait there's plenty of work on Arthur that can be done!
