Mission Thrift swooped in and saved the day, volunteering their parking lot as a Porchfest stage for Echo Ravine, Broken Rain & Tacoma Noise Rodeo. We think this is a great match and will be our siren song to 6th Avenue, bringing passersby into our wonderful chaos. Come check these super fun musical acts, keeping in mind they are breaking for the parade from 3-4. Thank you Mission Thrift and these awesome bands for pushing through and making it happen. THIS IS A MUST-READ, TACOMA!
Hey, Porchfest made it into The Grit City Podcast! They want to know the logistics of parking, etc... So -
- please don't drive to Porchfest if you are close! If you must drive, please park in the surrounding neighborhoods north of 6th Ave; S of S 12th; East of Sprague; West of S Cedar. 2nd Cycle is hosting a family-friendly group ride from Wright Park into the festival. Carpool! Take an Uber! Rent a scooter! Ride your unicycle! Leap frog on over!
We can't wait and we hope everyone stays safe!

We are so grateful to have such a strong, organized group of capable volunteers on hand at Porchfest, ready for anything. Look out for the red shirts and make sure to thank them! Chat with them at their table at the church lot and find out how to join!
Being a porch host is an act of radical hospitality. Our neighbors have stepped up in so many unexpected ways to make Porchfest so special! Not only have they opened their home to musicians they may not know, their yards to neighbors and strangers alike, they have gone above and beyond to make Porchfest their own personal concert space and hub for neighborhood connection. We've gotten to know so many of our neighbors through this venture, and all of our porch hosts are amazing people! This here is Nic & Athena from the orange house on S Pine -- they are early adopters who took a chance on this last year and couldn't wait to host again! We are SO LUCKY to have the best neighbors!
What are you doing at 3pm on Saturday? Well, we HOPE you are pumped from watching 2 hours of local rock from the 💚green side💚 and ready to dance your way down the people-moving parade to the 🩷pink side🩷 for more tunes from 4-6pm. Make some streamers on S State St, ride your unicycle, cart your kids in a wagon, just enjoy the music and sunshine and get to know each other!
OHEMGEEE it's finally here! The website is done, the set list is published and the field guide is LIVE. Thank you & for making magic happen!
